Anyone know where I can get the materials for this GS? I heard it was fishing in the Moga Woods during the daytime but i fished for over an hour with all kinds of bait and didnt catch anything that unlocked the GS.

There are only 2 places in the game to get Speartuna:

1. Moga Woods: Area 10.
2. Tundra: Base Camp

Both of these locations have about a 5% chance of showing up regardless of the mission rank. Don't just fish, however. You will see all the fish before fishing. If you do not see a speartuna (looks like a marlin), then just jump in the water to scare them all away and reset it. It is MUCH quicker to do it this way than to catch every fish you see.

Enjoy your fishy greatsword!

Got it, so just the infinite bait will work when you see one? Any idea how many i should catch for the creation/upgrades?

1 for the first.

1 for the first upgrade at high rank

1 for the second and last upgrade at G-rank

So you will need a total of 3. And yes, the worm or mega lure work. Just keep diving into the water if you do not see the fish. After a few minutes, you will see the fish you want, then make sure to pull your bait out if you are going to catch any fish other than the one you want...

Or you can just keep going to the rotting log and pick up worms and going back, its really up to you.
