Yeah this is pretty much how I feel, I didn't even know about Monster Hunter until about a month or two ago, and I don't play games vey fast so I just gotten up to the high rank quests when I heard it was shutting down. Oh well.

Goodbye mh tri. Thank you for the loads of memories.

Great game, great fun, fantastic memories.

It was a game worth buying and time well spent.

In my opinion tri > ultimate. Honestly it may get me some hate I don't care but I put it with the original it was pretty much a fresh start it was a new monster hunter in more ways than one. They changed the conventions that the original set. To me it's sad to see tri go because it did so much for a series that had been growing stale and had not seen much added to it since the addition of new classes in MH2

I remember when I got the game as a high school freshman, excited to go home each day to hunt something new. I'll be graduating next month, but it feels like I've lost a good friend.

Monster Hunter Tri was my first Monster Hunter game, I didn't even know the series existed until I saw it at my library and it looked kinda cool so I desided to rent it.

*sniff* I... *sniff* I got something in my eye...

Eh, Tri online was okay. Intro to some new monster's is what kept me playing it.

Oh well, in about a week or so will be a month since Tri closed up.
I miss those health bar graphics, fighting Jhen with 3 more people, going around Loc lac just to explore to death the city I already explored like a million times...

Damn, that's right o.O now I feel sorry for all those Felynes I assaulted with my massive axe, the buggers were just stealing because they needed food for their family :/

RIP Tri servers, I enjoyed your time and ability to stay in a room even when the host left.
