Yeah, I expected that much. Never thought it'd be seamless.

So... it's hitting Japan in March; and is to feature online play.
Wait wat. Why would they include online play to the Japanese audience who don't need it? Unless of course... they plan to release it here... :O
But it took about 2 years for us to get 3G, so we likely won't get a localized version for a while. Capcom is still pretty precarious about releasing monster hunters in the west because they know it won't do as well as it would in japan, so unless the game is really innovative and different and has plenty of content they will probably second guess localizing it. Not saying mh4 isn't westernize ready, but they may want to see how mh4 does in japan first and then see what needs to be improved for it to kick off in the west.

Year and a half. Not even. (Which is the same time 3G adopters have between 3G and 4, and with HD there's only a 4 month gap)
So, if that keeps up, we'd have 3G and HD for a year and half before 4. I played 3 like crazy for longer than a year and a half. I'd prefer to wait longer before 4, honestly.

^ Actually just a little over a year for the 3ds version of 3G/MHU and ... well less than 3 months for MHU on the WiiU from it's release in Japan.. Beat to it...
Also... Hmmm, I'm curious.. MH3Ghd will come out in December in Japan... then MH4 will be released in March for the 3DS, both with online.. Yea, one on a home console and one portable.. but I wonder how that will affect the sales of each other (Help or hurt).....
Who knows.... Maybe we might end up seeing a 3rd MH game getting released here in the west before the end of the year....??

It might hurt... idk when 3g HD releases, but if its in the same month as 4 then it would hurt. Over here we get 3U on march, so if they are going to release 4 next year in the west, then they should wait until December maybe.
MH3G HD is a Wii U launch title (and bundle) in Japan. That gives them 3-4 months of online 3G before getting another online MH title.

Just a thought.
If that new necromancer dragon can re-animate the dead, what do you think it's armour skills will be? :o
