I figured now would be the perfect time to start a complaint thread about your experiences with Randoms as I have a complaint about them already.

Anyways, in the Demo I set up a room for Tetsucabra. I get 4 people and as I'm choosing weapons one of the people leaves booting us all from the server. I hate that!

Yeah, when I fought him in the Gathering Hall, I couldn't even tell a difference between that version and the Caravan Quest's version.

Tried out the arena event with two other people. They didn't know how the gate switch worked so they ended up trapping me with the Tetsucabra and Najarala while they had no idea what to do on the other side. I managed to survive the two monsters. It was kind of a dick move but hilarious at the same time

I actually have no idea how it works either. Could someone explain it to me so I don't look like an idiot if I somehow manage to activate it accidentally.

Also, is there anywhere where you can gather ballista ammo in the arena? Or do some arena quests give you ballista ammo?

Ahh, so I'm assuming they don't let you use it for one monster quests? Because I figured those were how you would use it, but they never let me hit them. That would explain it...

Neither can the Steampunk IG. Lotsa people already raging on facbook about it. Great weapon that is low rank apparantly.

Did the quest early morning with tom and the rajang in rage mode 1 shot me with the lighting beam while i was wearing full Zingre S armor(def 378).  

I don't know why, but the HR4 urgent Pink Rathian has had me stuck. It's not because I die to it or anything. My equipment is still incredible for this point online. I'm stuck because my team mates are always terrible, and I just had the worst team yet.

My team consisted of me in my very fashionable attire with a HBG, a glaive user, and a LS user. Now whenever I see a glaive user, I worry that all they will do is use the vault attack. Guess what, they did. They did it so much, that they didn't actually time it right and ended up triple-carting. So since the glaive user carted so much, the LS user and I had to basically duo the Rathian. This is where the LS user got REALLY annoying. Their favorite thing to do was run around. They even ran around when their health was near full. They only attacked when the Rathian was down. In fact, the LS user ran around to much, that the Rathian would run halfway across the map to try and catch him. For me, as a HBG player, this meant I had to try and haul ass half way across the map to try and get some good damage and some good shots in. This meant I had to mash the roll button or sheath my weapon just to try and get at least one good shot. This was the most irritating part of the quest. I didn't even care that the other guy triple carted. At least he fought the damn monster.

When doing urgents (or even key quests grinding in general), I always try to find a room with at least 2 people who know what they're doing, typically anyone with the HR limiter removed, or if I'm lucky, people who are simply HR 6 or 7 with good equipment.

Then again, being picky often leads to me taking ~20 minutes to find a room, but I find it's generally worth it, and that lost time is made up within a couple of quests.

All these top gear veterans that can't get a single online quest done alone n get mad at no carry wth..

Oh boy! Someone joined my room, saw my black character, and called me a racial slur that only supreme scumlords use! I forgot to add them to my block list, so I hope I never ever see them again.

The quest I need to unlock the offline Kushala Daora has vanished for absolutely no reason. So that's annoying.

It's so annoying to upgrade IG's. If you mess up when giving it nectars, you'll have to start all over again if you don't want a crappy weapon. While the IG is incredibly versatile, it takes a lot of skill to use properly and to make properly. Those times when all you want is orange but all you get is green (and green is supposed to be the hardest to get)...

The triforce quest is a pain, though. Even with 4 G rank players we're getting frustrated. That damn Kirin needs to learn to stand still. Rajang can one hit me if I'm not careful (my fault for having awful thunder res.)

Oh and we tried fighting the furious Rajang for some golden pelts.... Lol nopenopenope. That thing hits like a truck.

I get the feeling even g rank people do not prepare themselves for questing... oh the woes of randoms... tackling chaos gore magala and not having nulberries is just asking to get triple carted. And when you cart twice because you dont realise to heal yerself. Mind you, these are my bf's experiences as of now but complaints all of the same. I am just happy I haven't encountered these and below kinda sort on my own, tho I am sad he has to deal with these kinda folks.

Oh and then on other side of the spectrum we have... pro leecher! You've prolly seen some of those hr30 g2 ranked people who just zoomed past everything and they now have horrible gear, horrible weps and even more horrible playing skills. But this one takes the cake. Hr18, g1, 300 defence, rare 3 wep (as in low rank wep, jesus), going into double seregios quest. Because one seregios isn't hard enough ya know.

"He's my friend" is apparently a good reason to let such people leech. In their mind yes, but the other 2 people don't want to carry randoms who cannot contribute. "He's gonna find stuff, we kill seregios easily". Just... pray tell, what exactly would you find from quests, to kill seregios easier? I'm just baffled.

Randoms get more and more rude and idiotical day by day it seems. If ya guys ever see these kinda dudes, block em immediately and panic run away as fast as you can.

Personally, I'm miffed at people being so unprepared for quests. They don't bring traps, they dont bring flash bombs to rathalos of all things, no nulberries on frenzy monsters and so on. Oh and I am very annoyed that way too many g rank people simply run back to the camp.. to get a map or something, I don't know, but they always run to the camp regardless if seemingly every sunken hollow or volcano quests monsters start from area 8. They always run too, they never bring items such as farcasters. I'm thinking they're just leeching at this point as they continue to make their way to monster area slowly and when they finally fight the monster, they seem to run around them more than actually attacking.

I am also annoyed that when I'm hosting and ask for people to cut tails when I hammer azure rathalos head to the ground and it falls down like 6 times due to various reasons, the tail is STILL NOT CUT OFF but few seconds before the monster starts limping. Then same people with charge blade give me lip when I tell them to aim better as they seemingly couldn't get one tail lobbed off when they were too busy smashing legs or something. Oh and missing the super charge attack on the head as well when the monster was down lol. Too busy attacking legs to either try to supersmashystun it or cut tail, I get it.

Also... it's apparent that desire sensor is a bit broken for me. Or maybe working exactly as intended. I got 4 mantles in a row. 4!! I now have 9 rathalos mantles and dunno what I'm gonna do with them.. and yet I only have a single rathalos lash. I have capture master most of the time and that 14% lash chance seems like a bogus to me and yet I keep getting mantles of all things. And ofc I keep carving anything else but the 48% drop chance from the tail. :<

At least I made one person happy tho, by rubbing my magic luck on them they gained that rathalos mantle they were seeking on that next quest they did.

Egg missions designed for four people is such a drag when doing them solo. Gotta get that completion though heheh

All these randoms with horrible..... habits. Its what I was expecting to happen with the gaming becoming more mainstream. And the more mainstream it gets the more people like this we will run into.

All those Call of Duty and World of Warcraft Players who wont get better because they bought the game cause it looked cool/ got good scores etc.

Its the unfortunate truth of every game that gets main stream, Especially in the US.

I'd rather it get more players than be doomed to obscurity.

Aand I need silver rathalos lashes. Meaning I need to wait till dlc to come who knows when.

Maybe I will buff my other glaives properly too and see what mats they need... but just getting two twisted stouthorns is proving to me a pain, diablos won't give up his horns so easily, much less let me break em. I'm just hoping I don't need any hardhorns for my water glaive.

Please stop firing lasers everywhere nonstop. You're carting all my teammates and making me fail every time I try the quest with a group.

And this SHOULD be the end result. After all the people who bought the game cause of the hype get bored with it, the ones who really enjoyed it will be larger than before.... I would hope.

Yeah but just like the other games, the vast majority of those god awful players will thin out as time goes on, as the move on to new AAA titles or whatever else tickles their casual fancies. Then the servers shall once again be mine ours...
