Hi All,

My signature says it all for the most part (who I am, what I'm doing, what I'm looking for).

Found this forum and thought it was useful and figured I'd join. Getting tired of all the random people out there (and rooms) that are often just a waste of time. My play time is somewhat limited (i.e. I don't have all day everyday to play video games sadly... full time job and a wife) - so the time waste is frustrating. But I typically am on a couple nights a week for a good period each time and a little on the weekend. Thought anyone in the forum here might be helpful to join up with to get more bang per time playing.

Would love to meet up with anyone looking for HR 18-31 companions, or anyone willing to help me out along the way, and build some friends. I'm fairly competent overall I think, and should only be getting better. I played offline through 5* before starting online so I could get the ropes. New to MH world, but extensively played Diablo 2 and so am acquainted with online play and etiquette etc. More than happy to help out anyone who helps me, and as I advanced should be more able to do more of that.

This week I'll be playing Wednesday and Thursday nights about 6-10 PM CST (10/5-10/6).

So please, look me up and I look forward to meeting any of you. Excited to learn from everyone and to contribute back whenever I can.

Welcome to the forums!
We're pretty active around here, though not me personally :P
To find people to hunt with, you can use the City Hall, found here: Link!

You might not be aware of this, but the Monster Hunter Tri servers are split into three zones:
Japan, US, and PAL Region

It's good to be aware of this to make it easier to find other hunters.
Judging by your timezone and the way you write dates, I'd say you're from the US?

There's also a few sections dedicated to stuff not directly related to Monster Hunter found all the way at the bottom of the forum's main page, be sure to have a look!

Hi I'm Semaj711 still low rank getting to high rank(HR28). I like using my trusty SnS for hunting in Tri. So.... can someone help me get to high rank?

P.S I killed a Rahtian with a raw damage SnS turns out i was lucky to kill it.
P.SS I have a decent selection of weapons and mostly use SnS, Longsword and Lance with rather decnt armours.

About to gravedig I believe. Bear with me here...

So, just registered today. My first venture into a Monster Hunter forum, even after having MHTri for almost a year now. Generally speaking I'm a fairly high-ranked hunter at HR 82, and I'm at my best when abusing Tremor-Proof, Guard Up, Guard+2 and Lances against monsters like Uragaan, Agnaktor and Deviljho. I'm also proficient in the use of Longswords, Hammers and Bowguns, and I'm currently practicing with Switch Axes and Sword and Shields.

I'm friendly, and patient with lower-ranked hunters who are still learning the ropes, although I don't usually actively help pre-HR31 hunters, due to being busy with armor-making and weapon crafting for the most part. I'm rather chatty as well, making comments during hunts and pulling odd stunts and one-liners from movies and videogames as I please to add...comedic effect.

Australian/European server, which restricts alot of my activities with online friends. Still, if you're looking for someone who's thorough with videogames but most certainly not serious with them, feel free to give a shout and I'll come help ya.

Usually available most of the week, unless I'm busy playing other games. Exams just finished, so I've got plenty of time.
