New Here? come introduce yourself

It seems we get new people all the time, and people tend to make topics about introducing themselves, so I figured that a topic where you could introduce yourself if your new would be a good Idea so that there arent a ton of introduction topics. So if anybody is new and wants to introduce yourself, do it here.
This isnt my idea only, I had had the idea and then I saw an older post that had suggested this too so I made this.

I'm an old hunter that just cant quit rush. I used to be very active on here 2 years ago.

Hello all, welcome newcomers (including myself)
First played monster hunter because of my brother back in the mid 2000's. I've gotten unite was hooked.

I haven't played ultimate in two weeks. now I can't because my charger has snapped. I wont share much about myself nor post often. naturally I'm very shy,anixous, anti social and extremely distant so its hard for me to get along with anyone at the start, gaining trust is very sour and bitter this time around.

thank you very much, hello there btw. I will try and use this site to my advantage. As for the friend part. I think not, unless they like the silent treatment. for I. don't open up to others so easily heheh. probably be best if they move on. its the best alternative I should say.

If I can open up this much you should be able to as well. Well both may not have friends on this forum but I think if you open up you'll make some. So be positive ok?

Well all I can see drop a few sentences here, a smirk there, a giggle down there. You'll make friends in no timte here.

the EASIEST way is to just share a few hunting stories, its the biggest thing we all ahve in common here. AWESOME hunting stories!!

Welcome to the forum ehh I say loosen up a bit but I won't try to change you maybe you will make some friends you enjoy talking to maybe not, but it's always nice to keep an open mind about that. Anywho welcome once more and hopefully you have an enjoyable experience on here.

You say that you're shy and it is hard for you to open up to yourself? Well I can totally relate to you, Tri was my first MH game and I was too shy to even say Hi to fellow hunters, I met a few nice hunters which I now hunt with on MH3U, naturally I am shy and trusting people is hard for me to do, at first when I joined these forums I just lurked and watched everyone, then when I felt comfortable I introduced myself I was surprised by the way everyone was nice and I received a warm welcome, now I can do the same for you, Welcome to the forums, I hope you enjoy your stay here

Howdy everyone. I’m new to the forums so I thought it best to introduce myself. I’m Tony from Tulsa, OK. Father of five and I run a mostly Nintendo related website called Nintendo Okie. I’m fairly new to Monster Hunter, having started playing the game with the release of Tri on the Wii. I’ve been playing 3 Ultimate since release day and currently have 65 hours into the game. One of the other guys from the site and I started a bi-weekly Monster Hunter show that we post to our Youtube Channel and we’re always looking for people to hunt with us if you’re interested.

I’ve been playing games since I got an NES for my birthday when I was 10. My favorite game of all time is Luigi’s Mansion, but I also really like the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Monster Hunter has been taking up most of my time lately and I can generally be found just about every night out hunting.

Looking forward to joining the discussions and meeting some of you for hunts.

Seeing as how I just got my account up and running today, I guess this would be the best spot to start...

My first game was Tri for the Wii, after one of my younger brothers bought a used copy of it some years ago. At first, he was the only one who played, the rest of us assuming it was just another hunting game, but it wasn't long before his three siblings, one being myself, of course, made files of our own. I was drawn to the creativity that it allows, from having a variety of armor to being able to have any color of hair or armor pigment (after a certain point), and the challenge it posed, from the Great Jaggi to the Alatreon. I was drawn to trying to get all the titles and awards, along with all the large monster armor sets for blademasters, becoming a determined hunter and partner to many, reaching a rank of over 140 (at college, so I can't get on my Wii and fetch an exact number). My username was Verity19, my character's female, and my main weapons were the long sword and the switchaxe.
As of now, I play MH3U for the 3DS, am HR 73, prefer the long sword over all other classes, and am working on getting awards, specifically the crown awards until I can find people to do Underwater Ruins and Great Desert quests with me to finish another award. I go by Verity and switch between my Gold Rathian and Dire Miralis armor sets, along with switching among a wide variety of long swords, though I mostly use my Reaver "Calamity" when no other one's element's in preferance for the monsters I am about to face.

Though I may not be able to team up with anyone here, I do hope to be able to give and recieve help and advice here, along with have good discussions ;)

Let me be the first to welcome you to the forums, like yourself my first game was MHTri for the Wii, my brother was interested in the game, So I wanted to see the game myself and of course started my own profile, I was a lancer at first, but grew accustomed to the other weapons and what playstyle they offered, I managed to get online about 9 months before the servers shut down, made it to HR 375 on my main character: Ike, with almost every armor and weapon available, made a female character to see the differences in armor design and got to HR 95 with her, I now play MH3U on both the WiiU and 3DS, still under the same name, and I'm at HR 191, hopefully one day we'll get to hunt together, but ultimately for now... welcome to the forums /hap/

Wow, seems we both had quite a similar start, what with a brother getting Tri and us ending up making files on it, too. My brother's actually a lancer now on Ultimate, even though he didn't like them on Tri and I believe prefered the great sword? He's better-rounded with the weapon classes than I am now, but I'll just have to pull him away from Skyrim when I go home some weekend to make sure he isn't getting too rusty ;)

Well welcome to the forum might as well try to be a bit more active in greeting members since I see a lot of people posting intros yet no one is really paying attention to them.

Also I'm glad MH3 caught your interest in the series also you should try the older games if you can and see how much the game has come along. I've been playing since the original and love every game so far (except 3U felt like a slap in the face in how much the difficulty dropped). My rank on MH3 varies xD

Hello, I am new here too and seeing the topic name, it was only natural to do this here.

I was first brought into Monster Hunter from Monster Hunter Freedom 2 and from then on I have been playing the genre, although I don't have any of the series which connects to online servers, which is a pain to me sometimes, but also makes quests more interesting and challenging.

I currently play Monster Hunter Unite and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, I'm the best at the game but I certainly enjoy playing it and discussing it with others.

At the minute I'm doing guild quests to get better armour for the story since it goes straight from Ivory Lagaicrus High Rank to G-Rank so you can probably guess why the guild quests are somewhat vital at this point in time.
