I don't think that there will be subs for the final boss monsters. That aside, I would love to see a fire Amatsu that you fight in sacred land...

Oh yeah, gamers totally want to pay for content that should have been in the game in the first place. The only time DLC is justified when it comes like a year after the game has been released. If the DLC is released in less than, say, 3 months, it just means that the developers are trying to make you pay more money for their game instead of just including it with the full package.
Nintendo does not "get the gamer community" because they're supporting DLC, they "get the gamer community" by releasing complete games.
Not that any of this applies to this situation because I'm sure this just means you can download event quests like in Unite free of charge.

The 3DS is a lot more focused on online content and play with a lot of things (yes I know 3G does not have online play I am talking about the 3DS and am getting to the point) also with this months update Nintendo is making in game DLC and purchases more possible and open. Several other 3DS games coming out have much more exstencive options for extra content so just extra quests from time to time is nice but nothing new IMO.
And for 3G it should just be downloading quests and arenas nothing more.
Also roik, the DLC Nintendo is allowing is only DLC that is not needed to complete a game. Extra content only as they put it. They said they want a full game on their system and the DLC to only be additional fun stuff that people can choose to have if they want but is in no way needed to complete or enjoy a full game experience. So Nintendo is trying to change the mindset of what DLC is. DLC should be "extra" content if you want it not "needed" content that you are forced to have.

Which is exactly my point, dcj91x.
The following was referring to the behaviour of other developers:

My point is that Nintendo was doing the right thing with THEIR games (as in made by Nintendo) by not using DLC at all and instead releasing complete and full games right from the start. Personally I am not a fan of DLC unless it is something really good that developers simply have not thought of until after releasing the game. Not content that was in the original plan from the start but wasn't released just to milk the gamers with DLC.

I doubt it, maybe as a DLC quest but not at launch
Looks awesome. The Golden Swax (?) looks nice. Is it some special event weapon? Also, it looks to me that the new Jho is a new rage form, judging from it's move. Or G-rank, who knows.
Anyone has a translation from what it says?

Not translation but I can say: Deviljho is a G-Rank, but it got its own icon. Dark Jinouga may be dragon or simply a red thunder monster The new armors desing are G rank 3 event gunlance of 3rd are coming back The golden swax is probably a "damascus" swax

They are really milking demon-Jho for all they've got. I, for one, am not complaining. That beast looks friggin' awesome.
As for the Switch Axe, it looks so much larger than any other Swaxe I've seen. Any reason for that you think?
It'll probably be utter bullshit. Note it costs 75000z to make. It's also probably not that big, due to hitboxes being the same for all weapons of the same type.

Uh...3rd spoilered pic, the one screenshot when 'Nouga is doing his AoE 'lightning' attack (second down on the right). I think that's the dragonblight symbol. Here, have a comparison !

P.S. Is that an old monster? Cause I can't recognize it if it is... Fatalis maybe? Actually, it probably is the new endgame monster... You know, like how Amatsu was in the P3 opening. I hope he still makes it in...

Wow, that wasn't rude at all. I just missed a tiny detail, I thought it was the cold resistance up icon again. And I never thought it wasn't dragon element, I just questioned where he saw the icon.

That new endgame monster looks AMAZING. I can already tell its has a nice color scheme and he is super epic
Edit:Am I the only one who thinks he kind of looks like a snake with wings and he is curled up in the water? Maybe im wrong but what do y'all see?
