Killed Jhen for the very first time! A very nice Australian player named Selena helped me actually become useful (lol) and the two hunts we did went very smoothly. Got another EDG and two ElderDragonBloods. I'll soon be able to make a Jhen+ armor, although I still don't know where I can get the Conqueror Seals or whatever they are called. Time to head on to MH wiki i guess /yes/

Also, some other guy we did the hunt with told me that only Long Swords and Great Swords are good on Jhen. I asked him why, but he didn't really want to elaborate (no keyboard I presume). I didn't have any Dragon or Ice LS/GS so I was quickly relegated to operating cannons and ballista (see above). Can anyone explain? I read Jhen Mohran wiki page thoughtfully and there is nothing that says "this and this weapon sucks for reasons X and Y, don't use it", so I'm rather confused.

Eh... I suppose it's because Jhen is basically a giant wall of HP so you can spam Lvl 3 charges from GSs and Spirit Combos from LSs... but I'm not sure. But now that you've mentioned, I've never seen anyone use anything other than Anguish and Demise against Jhen.

i already got those jho coins though, but we can still hunt for some los plates later

I sadly got swamped in homework so I couldn't get far enough in offline D: . Hopefully after getting all that work done I'll be able to play online sometime next week.

popped on again, did some jho with jfizzle and a really bad hammerer. two jhos, two doublecarts.

I'm not that good, so I didn't get tail off on first Jho second jho, I got so good hits in on tail but jfizzle got the final cut.

so yesterday i got online on Tri for like the first time in months. i started out by helping people out with LR quests (while practicing GS and stuff), then remembered Akai said he'd be on helping a friend during that time.
So i got to go on a hunt or two with Akal and meet Bear ^.^

a pretty succesful day.
i got 3 out of the 5 plates needeed for my los frame.
now i have only one more to go (along with another spare plate)
did 2 jhos with fizzle. id say i didnt do too bad, got one KO on the second run, but two on the first. still have a ton of things to do though

Today was pretty decent, though not a lot happened because I didn't start until late on. I went for some Gigginox to get some Talon+, and got more than I needed. I was looking to set up for a status set, but with the guidelines, I'm missing a charm for a portion of it. It was in one of these quests that while I was playing through with one person, two others came and joined us, but during the quest, they exited the game; as to if they were having issues, or were just trying to leave people dry, I don't know. We didn't have any trouble, though. We'd done a few quests before with just the two of us, and we were comfortable with how the fights went. I did have a few mishaps with the hammer, but that was because everyone else was swinging Long Swords around the cave.

I did do a few runs through the Volcano to try my luck for some charms, but sadly, nothing really popped up that was any good. It was then that some people came into the room that I'd listed in a thread I made in the City Hall on here. I thought that they may have been some people from here, but it seemed like they weren't. We had a few low rank quests before they left, while I just played around with the armour I'd just acquired with my Almighty Dahaka against Qurupeco and Rathalos. Rathalos took ages, in part because I hadn't noticed that everyone had ended up wielding paralysis swords; me with the Dahaka, because I wnated to see how comfortable I was with it, but the other two made the fight hard on me, since they seemed to be doing a lot of Spirit Slashing that kept disrupting me.

After the Rathalos quest, another person joined us, but we had ended up losing one-- so it was more like a trade. It was a good trade, though. I decided to give them a hand with some quests that they wanted to do. They were low rank quests, since they weren't quite to the point they could do high rank quests yet, but they were nice to fight alongside. First was Gigginox which the person who was with me before, that didn't leave, where I got a nice collection of Pale Extracts to go along with my need for Mega Demondrugs and Armorskins. After that one guy left though, I was left with the person who came in after the Rathlos hunt. We did some quests that probably aren't going to come in the order that they were done-- from what I remember, we did an Uragaan hunt where they managed to take out the tail, while I dealt with the chin, and then we caught it when it was weak enough.

Next that I can remember was the Royal Ludroth Arena hunt, where I chose Gunner for a play around, and they chose the hammer. It was an okay run, but broke beyond 5 minutes, so it wasn't really a fast run. I carted once through miscommunication; I set bombs while they were superpounding, so I brought it on myself.

After that, someone that they had hunted with before came on, so we decided to go for something else; it was between the Advanced quests of Rathalos, or him and Rathian together, so we went for the latter. I decided to play around as a Gunner, given that it was still a low rank quest, and while the latest person to join the room ended up 'bailing' on us, we still managed to take out the Rathian and Rathalos rather neatly. Thankfully there wasn't much need for Lifepowders, because I'd forgotten to stock back up, though there was one moment where the pair of monsters ganged up on us in Deserted Island's Area 3.

Rathian died after getting swatted out of the air in area 7, and funnily enough, about a minute later, after the person I was hunting with carved Rathian, Rathalos decided to join us! We'd done a bit of damage to him before, since we started with him and switched to Rathian, so that we weren't chasing monsters all over the map. It worked out well, and in more hilarious fashion, I ended up shooting Rathalos out of the sky, as well as stopping him from roaring throughout the hunt.

Unfortunately, that was the last battle of the night... morning... whatever. They had to leave, and I kind of felt a little tired, too. After a short conversation about the kinds of people who we'd experienced while looking for rooms to hunt with people in, we said goodbye and I told them that they could count on me if I was around for assistance against Alatreon, once they got that far. It'd be quite a while, but they were really fun to hunt with. I hope I come across them, again.

Did some offline hunting for los plates for my rathling+... didn't get any from 4 rounds of death of sea and skies. Just ANOTHER lagi plate (have 22 already from farming double lagi for sapphires).
Well, I pop on later to get some Jho coins. Made an arena city of my own to do that, and I do 4 quests with the person that comes in, alternating ian/los and land lords for a few rounds. Manage to S rank one with them! So, after two rounds alternating they dc after quest (giving them a bit of credit I guess) and I dc while waiting for someone to come in. I find a room with one person in it, but two people follow me quickly and I go on land lords with one of them. Do two of the quests before they just leave, no dc to explain it this time... well, I felt 4 coins was enough for the moment so I logged off to head to bed. Guild+ and barrage shall be mine soon~ (And Vulcannon... I guess? Probably not)

Today I hunted in the Area called School.

I carved some hot girls D: and killed some douchebags...

was a good hunt

so last night i got on to see what events quests were there, saw Sea Power, did it a couple times, then made the LS. then like a half hour later the quests changed >.<
i got to hunt with Akai and Bear again! and Sumi, but they tried fooling me with her alt, but i figured it out pretty quickly xD
hopefully gonna play with them again today after i do some Deus offline ^.^

got my los+ frame!!!

I'm usually grounded from playing, I live on the east coast and despite having Tri for 7 months am only hr 35, that's why
