well, first day of hunting. got a lot done.

fought my way all the way to lagiacrus, on the port I just defeated rathian

First day:

Got Peco armor and swax, currently doing village quests. Repeld lagiacrus, will be fighting rathian tomorrow.

First day, didn't do as much as those guys above me.

Getting used to the new controls and layout, as well as rust from self imposed 4 months without Tri (insane I know). Practiced with dual swords, gunlance, and bow. Getting the hang of them, but I mostly just spam dual attacks. Got the knife and fork duals and killed Peco with it though! Stopped before R.luddy offline for the night, since I'm only a quest away from blue bear armor. That bear is such a joke... killed my first capture monster in a long while overestimating it.
Oh! And I got a Slime C+ +2 charm from the flooded forest bug quest... Feels so useless.

On another note, don't expect me online anytime. I tried to get into the DLC menu and see if there was anything available but it just kept booting due to low wifi signal. Which is odd because my 3DS doesn't have nearly as much trouble. Might get the 3DS version for save transfer to get DLC quests, don't want to miss out on those.

first day of hunt here
- finished village 1 and 2* : the capture quest are ... hard, i failed my first G.jaggi cap quest cause he was so weak....
havent made any new armor yet, planning to craft jaggi, then barroth
- did port arena : lagombi, purple ludi, and bari; got A rank.... barioth feels slower than in tri or is it just me?
- did some port quests (mushrooms, fishs etc...)

Bit stupid question but: Port quests = guild quests?

I need to wait until friday to play MH.. Can't wait

First day: Logged in, tried to find a way to copy my file to the 3DS from the WiiU... no option yet.

Went to sleep/work. Went to online play without doing any of the moga Village quests and joined a rank 2 Lagricrus run with my Hunting Horn. Epic Win! Proceeded to do that a few more times, Then decided to see what I could do offline Tranya Port Solo, and went for Peco...

Horrible hitboxes for Peco when using a Hunting Horn. You ALWAYS hit the flints if they are even remotely close to where you want to strike. Learned that for Peco, you have to aim for the Feet mostly (specially if you have low sharpness), and only do the head when it's on the floor. Anyways, Peco called a gold rathian on me. HAH, that was great.

Finished off doing Moga village quests. Learned Azura.... the bear thing, is cake with the hunting horn, and did all quests till 3 stars.

Productive first day ^_^.

It is slower, they took out the zig-zag attack that made him so beastly in tri cause narga has that attack

Got a complete set of Jaggi armor along with upgraded Peco GL and the Spiral Lance. Unlocked Kayamba before I went to bed.

Killed rathalos by the end of day 1, gonna try to repel ceadeus by day 2, get brachy weapons by day 3, then hit online on Friday.

Day 2:

Got full Lagiacrus set. Made Peco Swax and upgraded it, got anata boneblade and Lagiacrus HH

Just killed Los and Nox, next time i hope to finish village quests, get to caedues too!

Don't have the game yet, but getting it this weekend...

On my second day, worked through the 1* and 2* village yesterday, got me Jaggi Armor and working on an Azuros Gunner set and the Peco bow and swax

2nd Day: Ceadeus done. Didn't have to kill him to unlock high rank for some reason. Going to be working my way towards brachy the rest of the day.

Day 2 : part 2
about to fight ceadeus, got some nice weapons unlocked to go for. After ceadeus will probably max the farm out for high and grank!

Day 2: about to fight ceadeus, got my urgent online and helped alice get her first armor.

Got my rangu armor (volvidon) and some weapons, this game is off to a good start

End of day 2
Made progress and killed lagi, unlocked kayamba after a rough fight with duram that took over 30min due to not being used to how he attacks, but managed to win without too much trouble. Need to do free hunt a lot to get resource points since I'm upgrading farm as I go, they made some of the canteen upgrades go through there as well so expect to spend a LOT of resource points doing that. Will need to do two more free hunts tomorrow to get more points since 1k is a bit low all things considered. Hope to get to ceadeus tomorrow, but I'm not in such a hurry.

day 2 : cleared all 1-3* village quests, almost done with 4*
got my first attack+ tali which gives me attack up(L) with jaggi armor
did some free hunt for res point and farm/boats upgrades
now farming for giggi armor (earplug, speed sharp, status+1) before ending 4*

Day 3

Killed R. Luddy with my Chainsaw LS in 5 mins, and did Barroth in 5 mins. Both of them are now slower than they were in Tri.

Hunting Journal: Eventful last two days. Just killed village Gobul.

I think I named my pig Janet.

Enjoying the hunting horn more than I expected. Finished 1*-3* in Village. Going for the "Maestro", "KO", "Tranq Guru" and "Wide Range" as my Skill set before moving forward, and doing a little more Online. Bone Armor + Here I come!

Day 2: finished rhenoplos set, farmed arzuros and qurupeco, and ive done the bullfango event quest and the pink luddy arena questnwith my brother

Day 3: Finished Cadeus around noon, cleared Purple Ludroth and Pink Rath. Currently helping other hunters get to high rank in the guild hall.
