| I think I stopped playing MH3U for a long while now... I can't be bothered to play since I've put my Wii U away. Today I've accomplished nothing but go online for 2 minutes, check that no one in my friend's list is online, and then leave immediately. | |

8/10 This is my life when I get on MH3U, I would rather play with friends than randoms. I don't mind it but it's way better playing with people your familiar with.

| I didn't even get to the point where I collected everyone's details. I'm still at the start of G-rank telling myself I'll work up the urge to go and complete it eventually | |

| After 2 weeks without 3U (Pokemon X yeah...) I decided become hunter again! First spent couple of hours grinding for HR, than join random rooms for fun with Punish Draw GS. I actually managed to get Gold Crown Big Barroth which I needed for my award. Only 3 monsters left! Overall it was a great day and looking forward playing more tomorow I'm back baby! | |

| Actually, I just began a new character, and a new scheme of naming characters:
The first four characters of the name are "Jake," but the last characters are based on what weapon style he is going with:
For example, I currently have
JakeHammer (a hammer specialist)
and am considering
JakeGunner (to become a bowgun expert)

| I never understood the reason to making new characters for learning new weapons. Only thing I can think of is that people don't want to see that they used that weapon on their guild card. | |

| Maybe they want different charm table? I like my 9 but some things like Tenderizer+5, Attack+10 are just impossible to obtain. | |

| I...havent touched the game in forever(like since animal crossing came out). Started the game up and marveled at how wonderful the 3d is while fighting diablos. Then chacha walked behind me and my eyes started hurting because they fucked up the layers or something. | |

| Today I finished hunting in Moga woods, capped a black diablos, and got 4 hearts as reward, (Hello new pumpkin armor) so I spammed perscription pickup for the argosy to arrive, traded my commodities and forged my pumpkin armor for the halloween theme my friends were planning for hunting tonight, did some crown hunting, and got my gold aggy crown (only 5 more to go) and made it to HR 320 | |

I tried it once or twice, and again because I was forced to, back on Tri. I did it to sort of prove I could get through the offline game with that weapon tree or class. It's like in Pokemon, you can complete the game then decide you really want to include this other pokemon in your team, so you might catch it and grind it up at the E4, or you could start a new game and have it in from the start.

I was stalking you when I was on today waiting for an opening ;) Helped some lower ranked hunters, because I remember wanting help when I joined online Couldn't help but notice a lot of foreigners on today, I feel like it's a privelage to play with an English speaking player. But it made it very interesting speed running through 2 Savages, just did what I knew needed to done and it just so happens the other hunters knew what to do, so it all worked out ^.^ Still getting bored pretty quick, and hoping to get pumped soon to finish my last 3 awards!

Personally, for me it's easier to understand the mechanics and upgrades when I start the game from scratch. If you have overpowered weapons and start with G-Rank monsters, it is no where near as difficult as starting from scratch with nothing on. You have much more upgrading to do, both in armor and weapons, and it allows you to appreciate what are the little nuances with the weapon better imo. It also gives me a better sense of accomplishment.

| I think I finally got the urge to finish my last 3 awards. Started to work on my Sword and Shields for Artisans Award. Of course I got side-tracked and started working on other weapons and armor. Before that me and E&Troy hunted a bit, we did his first Father and Son quest, took out the small one pretty quick, then did it again for the big one, yeah..it went beautifully wrong ^.^ After I took a break and got on later. When I got back MH was welcoming me back with all kinds of goodies. I needed some jho coats so I did about 3 runs and got them plus a crook every run. I ended up wasting the coats though because I made a duplicate Vangis Cap X that I already had >_> Needed a Skymerald, hosted a room and a bunch of HR7’s joined, it actually went y pretty quick and I carved a Skymerald. Then I needed 2 Cloudy Moonshards, so I made a new Bushido set because I thought it would take a while… a set with Awaken, Sharpness+1, Trapmaster, Bombardier, and Evasion+1. Hosted a room and someone with Diamond Crest LBG, Bari Sns, and Brachy Hammer joined. Thought this wouldn’t go to well, ended up only taking about 6 minutes and got two moonshards, AWHATTUP DESIRE CENSOR?! ^_^ I felt kinda bad for the other players because at the time I had the only lucent room so I decided to stay about 8 more runs, just got mantles. Ended up making Lucent gunlance, and then joined some randoms to help and before I got off I hunted with Law ^_^ Also I was stalking between quests Antari waiting for a spot to open so I could join his rooms o.o

| I played with PAiN for a bit yesterday, and did a few quests. Got completely obliterated when trying to kill the large plesioth too. I also did some village quests and got the chief's garb award. (I know, so many people are busy trying to get every gold crown monster, and I'm busy completing LR quests. But I have to do them sometime) I hope to get allot of my HR village quests done (Btw, I haven't even finished the offline village play through). | |

| Hunted with PAiN today, as he joined my room with my mates, did some general farming (mostly Rathians for mantles) was good to hunt with a fellow forum member again, once PAiN left, my friends friend joined and helped her out with some of her arena quests, did that for about 3 hours, then she left, along with the other 2 (they added me anyways) went to my friends' room, and he helped farm for crowns, did numerous Gobul, G.Plessy, B.Giggi & C.Peco, eventually after getting only silver crown large or gold crown smalls, I got my gold large Gobul, and a new tali (Potential+5 Bomb Boost+9) attached that straight to my adren/status set, finished up for the day clocking in at HR 328 :3, Happy Hunting.------- https://mhwiki.forumotion.net/viewtopic.forum?t=10341 | |
