| End of day 6 Did the jaggia quest, beat up plesioth, went to work, came back and started to farm plessy for it's armor. That took all night. The %s in the brady guide for it's wing breaks are false, or I had terrible luck because I only got total 7 webbing from him. Oh well, got the parts I needed and even an extra wyvern stone out of rewards screen, but only one out of about ten or fifteen quests. But Plesioth seems to be a good place to get w.stones, 5%x4 from the body and ? from the rewards. Then again, I haven't looked at other monsters for their rates... | |

| I think I have about 30 hours of gameplay in. Unlocked village high rank. Enjoying HR a lot more than LR. The monsters in LR died too quickly. So far the most challenging hints were dura mobs ( because I accidentally stored all my whetstone s prior to the quest) and purple ludroth as I was to eager and forgot antidotes. Really enjoying the game so far. | |

| End of day 7 Made my Plesioth armor and fiddled with the waists I could use in order to get a skill set that I liked. Settled on alloy+ with speed sharpener gemmed in, and wide range since I didn't have any better charms to use (really helps keep those shortstuffs alive well). Did some more of the quests, only have G.baggi and Baleful to clear before my next urgent should appear. Got three more wyvern stones, two from capturing Gobul with my shiny new plessy armor. Sure I'll find a use for them someplace, should probably boost my weapon options somewhere after I get an extra armor set in next star rank. Also, is it just me or does Jade Barroth fatigue really fast? I did stop him from feeding twice, but it was still a bit ridiculous. Maybe just a lucky run? Got my other w.stone from him anyways, gotta love dem capture rewards. | |

| Just tearing through Village as I wait for the EU/US servers to be allowed to hunt together, 2nd day on, and already into 3 star quests, only playing an hour at the time, with 2 profiles going, just casually bossing leather armor and dual blades, but giving new weapons a shot here and there to get accustomed to the controls, looking forward to getting the Lagia gunlance along with most of the other weapons, good luck to my fellow hunters and I hope you're doing well with your questing. | |

| I'm trying to get a Lagiacrus Plate at the moment. Got everything else I needed to make the Lagiacrus armor. Also made those awesome insecticutter DS things. Since they have dragon, they are used pretty much on every monster. (except for, of coarse, the ones that aren't weak to dragon ) | |

| End of day 8: when will I stop counting? Kicked around some more village high rank monsters, got past the rathalos urgent with no problem, kicked around monsters in the next rank till Argosy came back (getting some wyvern stones and a couple bird wyvern gems on the way) to get Brachy quest. Suffered a cart when a Great Wroggi appeared during my Uragaan quest... didn't have antidotes (why would I?) and that thing was all over me at the same time as gaan. Got revenge and broke ever part of gaan after that, gunlance can actually break that chin if you time the wyvern fire right. As for the brachy quest, he's as hard as I expected after hearing about him from you guys but I did come prepared and only carted once (with a couple close calls after). Gunlance did well, but I need a more dodgeheavy weapon next time. Got materials for the longsword from the one hunt, but no more time tonight to test it out in free hunt to get more resource points. I might have a bucket of plesioth fangs worth 1500 resource points each, but that doesn't mean I want to spend them on that... | |

| Beat the Village High-Rank Rathalos urgent last night. Now I'm just getting ready for monsters like Brachydios.
I also apparently just killed a multi-headed Plesioth, since I got like three heads in the rewards. And I have two Wyvern Stones that I don't need, seeing as I carved my fourth from Plessy's dead body. | |

| Did some free hunt, encountered a brachy there and realized that a brachy weapon is only good if you can do what other status weapons need... hit the opponent a LOT! That's easier said than done on that bugger. Between that and the Zinogre urgent, I have to say that I either stink with longsword (highly likely) or the first stage brachy weapons aren't broken. So, after running out of potions but thankfully not carting to zinogre, decided I should go to the port for event quests. The extra items from cold call were nice, gotta boost rank to get flooded forest free for all though. Got all the event items for the tenembra upgrade for later, went through key quests and canteen to upgrade ingredients.... and then I did the goldenfish one. I'm not sure why my luck was so bad, but by the end I had maxed out all fish from that fishing spot and had 2 glorious minutes left on the 50min clock. Just painful. Well, more key quest poking tomorrow and then working on improving my weapon collection. Zinogre + brachy were kind of a wakeup call... besides, unlike armors those don't become useless in the next rank, and most are needed to upgrade into the better weapons. | |
