Hardest thing for you?

We all have had that single time when there is a quest/armor/challenge we wanted to do, yet when you looked at that challenge you shivered or you just wanted to avoid it


What is the hardest thing to you that you have overcome in your Monster Hunter tri life?


A friend of mine talked about a really fun monster to kill. Bowgunning barroth at Rank 5 has to be my worst experience but even tho we failed a lot, we could kill that barroth and farmed it untill I was rank 11.

Most of the time it tends to be that I want to avoid gathering a team for whatever quest I want to do, I don't have any qualms with any quests (Apart from Double Diablos -,-), but finding teams for some quests is nigh impossible, especially finding competent players...

Not much in Tri for me, but id say facing a deviljho for the first time. So much damage...so quick...Until i figured him out though.

Barroth: I lost like 15 times to this guy offline.
Agnaktor: My worst nightmare, I just don't know if just suck or it is just incredibly hard, in both offline and online... maybe it is both.
Getting an online armor, I simply upgrade the older ones... and it still isn't easy

Dual diablos event....

I STILL shiver from the sight of that quest.

The mushroom harvesting quest online ._.

Not yelling at people.

Otherwise it'd be having motivation to continue with the game. T_T

I still can't beat Diablos offline on my own. Don't laugh.

Diablos, haven't tried online yet but offline I managed one win and so far that is enough for me. Still need Marrow from it though /versad/ sooner or later I must survive again

I guess at this point it's just getting back into the game. But when i did play it, the most fun and the most costly was the double diablos quest. Gotta love those buggers

Getting stout horns...

Ive tried to solo Ala like 10 times and die before i hit him enough to make him go owwie. Its frustrating as hell when you think youve got an opening and he's just like "Whoops, lemme just pivot to my right and bitch slap that lil girl into oblivion." And then the dragon blight, and then the fireball, and then death. Every. Time. I remember when i first started tri offline, i spent a week trying to beat Luddy and after that for about six months into my online play, (hr50-90ish) i didnt even want to see its name. Now the only thing i really hesitate to do is go mine, because it takes forever and is tedious and NEVER gets you what you need, Ceadus because its an annoying ass quest, and soloing Rage Match and Alatreon. Other than those im pretty much down for anything, anytime. :P

You know what is hard? Rustshards and AncientShards, harder? Any + material, hardest? Any Gem, at least imo.

Those Damn Bloses, I swear they have no problem whooping you but when you return said whoopen he's in the ground 24/7... /mad/

Well, of course gathering some materials to armors, but if we talk about fighting and monsters.. Water fighting. I suck at it! D: And 2 Diablos and Uragaan and Agnaktor urgent offline quests. Can't even go online now because my Wi-Fi isn't working, so I'm afraid there's even harder thing waiting! But at least i have my friends with me. <3

ok seriously i think is cap 2 blos in arena, the hardest quest in the game for me

It's the quest "the death from sky and sea " offline with low rank armours and weapons.
I normally rape Los very easy but this Los ... can't understand what happen to him, very annoy, enrage almost the time. This quest took me nearly 10 times to do /scar/
Btw the hardest quest online for me is harvest 14 unique mushrooms solo /yes/

I still can't handle Rage Match.

I havent attempted Rage in a while, but im sure i could handle it now. The most annoying quests that i generally stay far far away from ( to solo at least ) are the double monster quests and gathering quests. Do you know how long it takes to get 14 unique mushrooms on D. Island? At least 20 minutes, not to mention two trips back to camp. :p

The 2x Blos event is by far the most challenging, IMO.

As far as solos.. Ala by far is the toughest solo, IMO.

Most of the other Mobs/Quests can be easily completed (Team or Solo) with patience and practice. I agree that a single Blos can be challenging, especially solo, but all of the mobs have tells and patterns, and once it becomes subconscious reflex to recognize those, it's just a matter of time before their death wail is heard and the field knife comes out.

Hardest thing at the moment is doing a 4 man party high rank barioth he so unpredictable and does the most impossible attacks ever. he facing towards someone..then he jumps sideways straight at you and BAM half hp gone...and ur like..seriously?

Saying no to helping other hunters, for some reason if a hunter begs for my help, it's really hard for me to say no, that's why i get my brother to do it 8D
