Hardest thing for you?

First topic message reminder :

We all have had that single time when there is a quest/armor/challenge we wanted to do, yet when you looked at that challenge you shivered or you just wanted to avoid it


What is the hardest thing to you that you have overcome in your Monster Hunter tri life?


A friend of mine talked about a really fun monster to kill. Bowgunning barroth at Rank 5 has to be my worst experience but even tho we failed a lot, we could kill that barroth and farmed it untill I was rank 11.

Well i killed/captured a whopping 40 deviljho before I got them gem i needed to finish the armor set. No joke.

I got like 10 Jho gems while farming Jhozilla...

Ill break it into sub-groups.

Offline: Agna claws. took me a whole month to get enough a claw to make dancing flame. Facing Lagia for the first time in that one quest, also its the one you cannot win against.

Online: Dual Blos event cap quest! The first encounter of Jho in HR quest.

Hardest thing for me was the Ice and Fire arena quest. A fast ice monster and a digging lava monster at the same place is not easy for me.

I remember late November 2010. There'd be like 1,200-1,500 people on the Recruit Server, then Jhen would hit and WTFZOMGBBQ!!!! The there'd be over 2,000!! I didn't get to see what happened when Jhozilla came, my 1st Wii was stolen the week before they released that event. >:|

If you played since early 2010 barilos red hot party jhozilla did not exist and events like mega ala were ungodly rare I wasn't being sarcastic at all with remark.

Aww that sucks also when it came they had all the events being released on the same quest board or was that after? It was so long ago I miss 2010 <3

myself and my good friend stachel have been duo-ing ala lately cause we've been chasing skypiercers and webbing


but came in here to say my hardest thing is getting away from people wanting us to do their urgent quests, we were doing ala last night, got back to the city to find a hr 30 and a hr 50 had both entered, so we first do jhen, kill it with about 5 min to spare, then we set up to do ala, hr 30 guys leaves so it's just the 3 of us, kill it after about 30 min, then get back to the city to find another hr 30 wanting us to do jhen

It peaves me when people do that shit. Join in on the Ala melee, certainly! Stop what I'm doing to make it ridiculously easy for you to get through a right of passage... H to the F NO!! GTFO!!

Alatreon and Jhen Moran are not even remotely spelled similarly. High, Ala, (Whatever) does not translate into "Welcome Noobs, Get Your Urgents Done Here!"

I would ignore them if it were me man.

Any offline Arena quests with a bowgun. Seriously it's like they troll you with the worst gun combination possible and mostly folding guns cause that's what I want when lagia is charging me, to be standing still while I unfold my stupid peco gun
