Thundra with explorer food skill. Or if you fight the jade barroth or Jho on the thundra when they want to rest they make way for 2 new places in the last one there is a bunch of it.
My advice, check everytime the food combination skills and if you see in any combination the Felyne Explorer skill well go change your set to a Gathering one so you can get the most of it, and try to do an easy quest like killing baggis or great baggy or logomby
Also this is URGENT for me, it,s mh tri related but since this thread is more active i just need help now. I was told that today was the last day i could get the furniture of the prize gold sword according to this calendar it was suppose to show today: http://mhtri.stilltruth.com/trade.html But i logged yesterday and even today and there was no 3rd page not even yesterday so waths wrong??? did i just missed it? everything else in the materials is exactly as the calendar but no third page im so sad please help!!! /versad/

No actually, thats Dragonbone Relic, not Elder Dragonbone..
I looked it up on the guide, it's found in The Tower.

Question for gunners and people who know how to handle them - what is better, God's Isle or Demon's Isle? I recently got God's Isle from mining. Judging it by attack - God's is better. Demon have only better status properties as it has lv1 sleep and para.
Anyway, let's start from basics, is it good LBG or not?
I saw few videos with people using it as status gun. Results are pretty good. Source:

Not sure what to think. Also i'm in Table 9.

Better normal clips and status clips on demon's isle, but rapid normal s lvl 1 is turd. It makes a good status gun.
God's isle isn't as hot on status, and has 1 fewer slot, but everything else is better. The max upgrade is quite good with higher affinity, faster reload, better recoil, rapid fire normal lvl 2 instead of 1, slime shot, and decent clips. It is quite a good LBG, especially at is max level.
I personally would prefer to use God's isle (and I'm jealous that you have it, cuz I want it, but I want them both :P).

Thx for reply. I'll go with God's Isle with barrage piercing for 3 lv2 para and sleep shots for status. Reload is pretty fast so i think i can status monster without problem. Also slime shots're pretty devastating too
Don't worry, you'll get it too. Just take few mining routes in G rank volcano.
Another question: What slickaxes do?

I am sorry for asking all of these, but I believe I have one more question for this topic:
I am down to Save Moga Village (offline) - the mission where you need to repel a Ceadeus.
I currently wear/wield the following:
Full Rathian Armor - all five pieces at level 5
and I carry a Jupiter's Sphere (I know I have a Carapace Hammer +, but the JS has an extra needed gem node, bringing my total Fresh Air Gems to five, activating Endless Oxygen.)
In you opinion, what armor/weapon combination works best against Ceadeus?

Im comfortable with hammers as well, but offline i used the thunderclap (upgraded cariant ofc). and killed him within the 30 mins. If you dont care to kill and only need the quest over with, youll easily be fine.
as for my question, does anybody know where i can find a guide/faq on how to transfer data from my 3ds to my wiiu so i can play on that?

Lances tear Deus apart, especially when mixed with Guard and Guard up. You can just stay at his beard, poke fer days and occasionally stop to block/counter. The rusted lance would probably be the best rank-appropriate lance available for Deus, but the Acrus Lance + will work fine, too.
Gem out the endless oxygen and put in Speed Sharpener instead. You'll spend a lot of time attacking, and it'll eat up your sharpness like crazy. It's not like you'll need the oxygen anyway, that's why they give you the ancient mask.

I'm trying to get long fragments from pirates tomb. I know it's from boats upgrades. I got fully upgraded fleet.
Lately i've been skipping days in the village with 1 star kelbi horn quest. But have not luck with pirates tomb appearing. Is this method good? I really need those long fragments

I can't think of a better way...just do quests quickly like you already are doing. I hope you get those soon though, it can be tedious I know /sad/ .
I got just one question right now. Is the Wyvern stone (and other gems) drop rate seriously 2%? I've got 20 (w-stones) so far and have only needed one . Same with almost every other gem stones. I seem to get them pretty often. F.e 2 Ceadeus = 2 ddg and 1 jhen = 1 edg....
Like yesterday, I needed 2 Agna claw+'s. Well, I killed 6 agnas, break all the claws every time, but got no claw+'s...instead got 4 wyvern stones...
Is the change of getting those about 2% like it was in tri? In that, I had to keep killing the monsters to get the gems, now I'm getting them too easily....is this just a good luck or has the drop rate been increased?? I'm just curious if I really have good luck, for once .

Too lazy to check up on this myself. When forging weapons, sometimes you can forge one that's a ways down one of the weapon trees (for example, you can forge a bolt axe outright, or you can forge a bone axe and upgrade it to one). What I want to know: is it generally cheaper to buy the weapon in the tree, or to buy the starting weapon and upgrade to it? Or does it depend on the tree?

I would say that do 'em straight away. If you start upgrading, you'll have to spend different type of materials to always upgrade to the next lvl, spend money on that and repeat.....Unless you have weapon that is 1-max 2 upgrades away of the weapon of your liking, then you can consider upgrading. So yeah, it depends on the tree I think. I can of course be wrong, but this is how I would do it .
(Make hunting fleets to bring ya gold/silver eggs, those should solve your money issue anyway ;)).

I'm sorry that you misunderstood me. I was asking if anybody had actually done the math on any of them, I wasn't looking for speculation or repetition of what I said. And I never said I had a money problem, I'm just looking to save money and resources so that I don't.

Okay, I'll do the math.
I just picked a hammer (Numbingbird), and compared the zenni cost of forging directly, versus the zenni cost of forging an Iron Hammer and upgrading it to Numbingbird.
Numbingbird - direct forge = 13950z Numbingbird - forge Iron Hammer, then 3 upgrades = 17350z
Direct forging is about 20% cheaper than upgrades. While this may not always be the case, I would suspect it holds true more often than not. And it's probably dependent on how far down the tree you're looking. The more upgrades, I suspect the larger the discount.
The only time I think I'd put in the effort to go through upgrades rather than from scratch is if the parts needed for the scratch are difficult to obtain.

Finally hit G-rank. Yays.
Q1: What is the earliest gunner armor with awaken? Q2: What is the eventual optimal gunner armor with awaken (if it's not the answer to Q1)? Q3: What is the optimal blade armor with sharpness +1 (handicraft), critical eye +2/3, sharp sword (probably easiest of the four skills to gem), and (if possible, not as important as the others, personal preference) attack up?
Basically, I want to aim for (finally) getting the armor I want as soon as possible before checklisting the rest of the quests.

I have already finished the quest to repel Ceadeus.
Now, I am about to embark on the quest to hunt him.
Will I be put through the same routine as I was made to do to him on the repel quest?
(spoiler below)
1) Hurt individual parts of Ceadeus, being sure to break them before reaching certain areas.
2) Fight Ceadeus in the last area
(end spoiler)
BTW, I quit and saved before fighting him.

It's pretty much the same, but you can take the shortcut near the camp that will take you directly to the arena area. I hate chasing that guy.

Shortcut doesn't work the first time you do "The Decisive Battle." Shame, really. I wish "Save Moga Village!" counted.
Shortcut works only if the previous try on "The Decisive Battle" was a repel. If you get a short intro movie at the start of the quest, you're on a new Ceadeus and have to chase. No movie = take shortcut.
