I just hit g rank, I'm an SnS user that currently has HR volvidon with AUL. The g rank Volvidon loses AUL but gets Biology (Dung Bombs +immunity to slime and stench)
Should I get the g rank Volvidon or get a different set?

Different set. Helios ZZZXZ is a popular set (Helios Z everything except Helios X for waist) That gives you HGE and Sharp+1. Or you can go for Narga X armor. Probably the two best armors to go for early G-Rank. After HR6 lots of new and better armors will be available.

can anyone recommend decent switch axes for early g-rank? All of mine require stuff like Ivory lagi, Steel ura and bari parts to upgrade.

How do I know I've broken Gigginox's mouth?

I need a second Fearsome Maw to upgrade my Bloodwings.

BTW, I use a Carapace Hammer and wear a full set of LR Wroggi Armor (Negate Poison, Razor Sharp.)

Never mind that - five minutes after posting, I introduced Nox to the wrong end of my Carapace Hammer, focusing on his head (where his "mouth" is.)

I broke his mouth, and got the last Fearsome Maw I needed.

Now, I just need to make 14,500z - easy, now that I don't have to fight Nox over and over!

Just use the Green Arrow set for Bow's.. all you need

Any good armor recommendations for a DS user who also likes Hammers?

I currently wield either a set of Bloodwings + or a Carapace Hammer.

My current armor is a full set of LR Jaggi Armor (upgraded to level 5); however I am also working on a set of Volvidon Armor (I need only the Vambraces to finish it.)

Volvidon armor is good. Nothing is hard in LR though, so even leather armor can get you to HR. Which I'd recommend getting to so you can actually get some decent armors.

He is in a part of the Desert that saps my health unless I use a Cool Drink.

Is there any good armor set I can make (I am not yet to HR) that counters Heat Exhaustion?

Never mind - I beat him.

I tend to forget sometimes the difference between a battle (for example, fighting Great Jaggi at this point) and a siege (be ready for a long, drawn out fight meant to see who has enough grit to finish the last round.)

Now, should I farm him - are there any good DS's or Hammers made from him? Or would his armor serve me well?

You can make a good HBG from him, and a good lance if you have awaken. There's nothing good at this point.

So, should I just hang on to the pieces I have now - will they be worth something later?

You should have more than enough space to hold on to items. No reason not to hold on to them.

Or you could perhaps use a cool drink? Getting an armor set with Heat Cancel just for that seems a bit, meh. Especially because with a cool drink, you can have any other armor set that might actually be good.

Cool drinks are so cheap. No point in farming a new armor for cold or heat exhaustion

I made a new character (female this time) and I'm wondering how can i get this armor, what materials do i need and what skills it have? There's very little info about that on web. On one video on youtube someone claims it's Yukumo G armor...

Any help?

I have never seen anyone with that armor online, but I am 100% sure that is not Yukumo G.

Gonna take a wild guess and say it's like the Guild Armor and like the sailor set

It can be Dianthus Flower set but i'm not sure...

If you fight Savage with Challenger+2, will it be perma active since that Jho is technically already in Rage mode before it goes super rage mode?

I'm not sure, but you could just look at your stats turing the quest and see if they have changed

I need a good bow-user skill to gem onto my Narga Z.
Currently it has Evade+2, Focus and Stam recov up. I mainly use an electric bow so I was thinking about thunder Atk+. I have 11 free slots in total with Arko Tri Y and I also don't have a talisman on.
Willing to make more bows than just my Arko Tri Y.

The Gigginox Z gunner armor isn't bad with that bow. Gem in Evasion and Tremor Res. and you can solo the Savage Jho easily. As for Narga. Z armor, getting Elemental Atk. Up wouldn't be bad (if you can) as it's easy to gem in, and allows you to switch element bows without switching the gems too much.

You can also get things like normal/rapid if you're going for raw damage. Something I've never done before, but haven't done yet is getting Pierce Up with that armor plus maybe another skill, using the Blos. bow.
