Razor sharp, speed sharpen and atk up X will be a nice set to have EAU does exist past Tri; just there are also skills for specific elements added too. For example Fire Attack +2 will give you a higher boost than EAU, but of course only works with fire weapons... Pretty handy when you think about it, especially for bowguns. Specific element skills were the shit in P3rd ;D Element attack up gives a x1.2 bonus to element right? If so IIRC (X element) Attack +2 gives x1.5 X element Attack +1 gives x1.2 This is the way it was in P3rd I think, I'm not so sure about Tri U. Seeing how it borrowed so many weapon and skill mechanics from P3rd though I'd say it's likely that they didn't change the boosts.

- Lol you are neglecting other skills that help ease grinding for items. With marathon runner and stamina recover up you can last longer than you would before just going on food buffs you have to understand people do not have issue grinding for parts but certain tasks are to small for people to care for. I very rarely ever see a team grinding for dash extracts anymore most people are preoccupied hunting other items they need for their armor.
Oh and when I say generic you are going pretty much on skills that were already in place on mh3 neglecting everything that ultimate brough to the table. Only seen challenger used but that is about it. How about bow no application of focus just skills that would have already been applied to bowgun in mh3 remember mh3 is a much deeper game than tri ever was stop thinking this is mh3 and go beyond that and explore other skills. TO be fair, regular dash juices are pretty easy to acquire and generally just as useful.

| Decent, easy to obtain Uragaan Hammer set for those who prefer Focus. Works only on monsters which does not require HGE. It's also good on Jho Hammer. It's even possible to add Stinger to this set, but u need at least Blow+3, one slot to do so. With 3 slot charm it's not possible so i just put it like it's now. - Spoiler:

| I noticed this wasn't pointed out for Hunting Horn low rank. Bone armor! KO + Flute + Perception! 4x 1 slot.
Mhag is screwing up on me. Just arrange all the low rank Bone armor together.

| Added a new G rank Lance set and a G rank bowgun set.
Remember, not all G rank armor sets are better. Some High Rank armor sets like Azure Rathalos are better, so be sure to check both High Rank and G rank tabs, although the General sets tab would be a good place to search for absolute end game sets.

| Um, the set under Sword and Shield/Dual Swords sets: G rank, that has the skills razor sharp, steller hunter, stamina rec up, and current res "low," with crit eye -1 isn't what it is supposed to be. | |

| Thought I'd pop in with what is basically the best general use Blademaster set in the game.
Armor Head - Narga Z Cap Body - Nether Mail Arms - Nether Vambraces Waist - Nether Faulds Feet - Grand Yamato/Hinata Gusoku
Gems Steady Jewel 3 x2 Evasion Jewel 2 x2
Talisman Any charm with Edgemaster +2 at the very least. Obtainable in all tables.
Resulting Skills Honed Blade (Stellar Hunter) Rock Steady Evasion +1

| I came up with pretty decent transporting set, mabye someone need one of those. inb4 no one do transporting missions/ no transporting in this game. - Spoiler:
You can easily gem in Ocean's Blessing but imho it's useless so i go with flame aura to get rid of jaggis and stuff.

Steel Uragaan is what I would choose for non-mixmatched sets. I am also disappointed at this lack of sets. maybe I'll get around to making one. on another note, would it not make more sense to separate some of these sets out by weapon? I understand the grouping, because they are similar weapons. however, I personally would pick drastically different skills for bow than bowgun, lance than gunlance, or sword and shield than dual swords. on another note, why is there no switchaxe section?

I'd say that one is pretty uber. Yeah but that seems rather specialised having Focus. I did say general use, since pretty much every melee weapon is going to get some use out of it.

If so I would really want to make a Guard +2 Rock Steady Honed Blade set... but i need a crazy charm for that to happen lol |
