| The WiiU download is 890MB. The 3DS is 1600 blocks and 1 block is 128kbs
So about 200MB for the 3DS demo if my math holds.

Thanks. There are two quests, Lagombi and Plesioth. lagombi in the tundra and plesioth in the deserted island. I don't know what the armors are though.

| It's the time difference and the fact that Nintendo not Capcom is marketing MH3U in the EU... That's why their 3DS video is in 3D and ours is not... | |

| Exact same demo for both platforms.
You get to pick pre-made characters, one for each weapon type. There's only two mission, the bunny rabbit snow bear thing (Lagombi?) and the fish t-rex thing (Pleithos?)
Once you beat the mission you get a THANK FOR PLAYING screen and you start all over again.
I've got to say the WiiU version looks great in it's animation and clarity. It still has a few poorly designed pieces but I guess it wouldn't be a Capcom game without them!

The frame rate is very sketchy in areas and there is some noticeable input lag. Hopefully they'll fix it by the time they finish it.

| Well I've played both missions, they've limited a lot of the menu access, and I'm pretty sure the armours don't have any skills. Anyway the lock-on is great, the thumb stick is good and responsive (but a little too sensitive for the bow in the "zoomed-mode" (this will surely be remedied with control settings)) and the rest of the controls are pretty rad. Plesi is actually easier underwater, and the Lagombi doesn't stand a chance against continual pummelling with the hammer.
Pretty darn good! | |

And I take it you played the 3DS demo? You didn't specify.. The 3DS version. I'm well aware that there are probably a whole bunch of differences between the demo monsters and full-game monsters. I rather think they've been nerfed a tad just for it. Also, Hot drinks weren't required for the Tundra, so I'm going to presume the demo over-all is a sort of "easy-mode", but it's great to check out the weapons and armour.

Yea....
So for those who have played the demo 3DS/WiiU how is everything so far (Not complaints just thoughts.)
Graphics (3D/HD), Controls, monsters actions and so on? And if you have both systems how is the difference between the two demos?

| Righteo .The 3D works really well, I had my doubts initially but they've done a good job in that area. .Both hunts give you 100% health and mark the Monster on the map (Again for the benefit of the newbies trying out the free demo) .All weapons types are available
.Armours/sets include (Apologies for any mistakes): G Rank Barioth (S&S) G Rank Gobul? (DS) Azure Rathalos Armour (GS) Ranger Armour (LS) G Rank Jaggi (Hammer) G Rank Giganox (HH) G Rank Barroth (Lance) G Rank Lagi (GL) G Rank Ceadius (SA) G Rank Ludroth (LBG) G Rank Rathalos (HBG) G Rank Nibbelsnarf (HBG) <- Looks awesome

| Ahh, so they made the demo "look" awesome, even though all that stuff you would get through tons of hard work.
Great job IMO. Anything to get people started on this game is awesome. Mainly because, if they see a big interest in the other world regions, we could possibly see the rest of the MH franchise come over.... most notably, Monster Hunter Frontier.
When the MH4 G version comes out, I also want it to be localized at the same time as the Japanese release. *I can dream*.

| Alright guys, I got to play two hunts each on both platforms. GREAT DEMO. Let's you play with each type of weapon, with great sets, not sure is armor skills are in affect, I only used the Greatsword for both. Playing with the 3D resolution on the 3ds is amazing, gives MH and entirley new look and feel. My first game i've ever played a game in 3d so it took a few moments to adjust, but im comfortable now. The WiiU version is great. i used the GamePad for Bugs bunny and Controller Pro for PLesioth. Very easy to play, only thing awkward is not being able to claw the game pad controller lol. When I'm back at home i will start making videos using each type of weapon on both monsters. Again, great demo, the game is going to be GREAT of course | |

| Is it only me or you can't use Circle Pad Pro in this demo on 3DS? What a disappointment, i want to try it to know how it works with Monster Hunter game. Wthout second analog stick, it's like always fighting with awkward controls. On ground with Bunny it's just fine thx to this auto-lock feature. Underwater though it's really, really awkward. | |

It's really not acceptable for there to be no circle pad support where the Resident Evil Revelations demo has support for that, considering that they are both made by capcom. The only way to play the demo with two sticks is playing the wii u version :/
