Does Metroid Fusion count as non-horror?

It was the first and only game/movie/media that ever gave me nightmares, it doesn't help that my only real fear/phobia is parasites.

I was 9 when Fusion came out, I had watched movies like Aliens, IT, etc, none of them ever scared me, but playing Fusion I was just terrified, these gelatinous, undescribable creatures that could just squeeze through a wall, and into your body completely removing any control you had, even mutating you beyond recognition

The commercial freaked me out to, I didn't understand when I saw it that the blue suited person was the real Samus so I thought it was like some freakish enemy posing as her (oh the irony)

Heck Nightmare in that game was a reprieve since your not immediately sure its another X amalgamation, It was relieving to know something on that staion was able to outwit these things, until of course it turns out to be one

Wasn't scary exactly, but it was just downright unpleasant.

i remember as a small child Devil May Cry 2 scared the crap out of everyone around me, and the first Devil May Cry scared the crap out of me personally when i was 16

Strange as it may sound, i found scary the final battle in the Puzzle Bubble psx version XD. It have a very scary music, and it made scary sounds when the enemy launched you balls, it was very unsetling.

I had a couple of moments in the original Turok that freaked me out. AS I remember, you are walking down a narrow corridor and out of nowhere this giant thing busts through the wall. Totally didn't see that coming.

It can be a decently scary experience the first few months of play ;)

But the ghost dogs in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (which was a genuinely good game btw) used to creep the shit out of me, they appeared out of nowhere in misty areas.

... Just about everything in this game... Took me a while to find a cutscene without Nudity...
