PostThe Elder Scrolls: Skyrim

Why is there no thread of this?

Oh well.

Skyrim is the newest game of the Elder Scrolls series of Bethesda Softworks.
The Elder Scrolls games are Action RPG's set in a huge world offering a very large amount of quests.

Well, look up some trailers and gameplay and stuff. It's worth getting. Release is in 7 days, on 11/11/11.

You can find a crap ton of tutorials and information on http://www.creationkit.com including instructions on where to get it. It's located under the Steam Tools if you're familiar with that. If not, just check that link.

Soo, necroing this thread with a bug report. One that a cursory search of the internets turned up zilch.

THe civil war questline, attacking a stormcloak camp. And... no stormcloaks appear. I'm just standing here, in this empty fort thinking 'sooo... now what?'

you did go to the imperial troops waiting for you right? cause you gotta meet up with the troops then raid the fort

if so, then, you glitched, simple and stern, just reload somewhere, reaccept and get back to it, going to the imperial troops first of course lol

If you're playing PC, look up the appropriate quest and then just use the setstage console command with the quest variable and quest stage variable required to skip it.

Arena is not but Daggerfall is.
They are both games developed for Microsoft DOS (not Windows) so you will need an emulator like DOSBox to run it.

I do believe that this belongs here.

Dawnguard will be released this summer. First for the xbox 360 and for PS3 and PC 30 days later.

Well...no Dawnguard for PC and PS3 yet which is a bummer. At least that gave me enough time to build up my forging skills and make Daedric Armor, because Roon can't fight vampires without looking really cool.

Very late on this, but Dawngaurd is on Xbox and PC now. PS3 users will still have to wait for the code or w/e for PS3 is lame :/
