HAHA! Got my gold crown for Plesi. I hate farming that thing. Now it's time to take on the hardest quest in the game for that giant Green Plesi and my second-to-last gold crown.

^Congrats on the new crown, and good luck with that
Got my large gold crown for Lagia yesterday and finished upgrading a weapon, though I wasn't able to fit in as much hunting as I was hoping. When I counted, I found I have fifteen gold crowns left now, with most of them being large crowns... For the Green Plesioth and Stygian Zinogre both, I know there's a quest that definitely gives their large crowns. I just need to convince my brother to help me with both, among other missions, when I go home, since I've timed out on both said missions when I've tried to solo them >.> For now, I'll be back to it. With only fifteen left, I'm feeling pretty happy with how this is going.

Did a few hunts today. Got rid of a lot of sets to make room for some Greatsword sets. Right now using a Sharpness +1, Speed Sheathe, Crit Draw, Focus, Tremor Res since I'm farming Savage. I've been doing pretty good evading through his roars so ear protection isn't needed for him these last awards are so boring to work for u_u

Failed Father and Son Outing runs all day. I got pretty far as a duo with one other person, but then they triple carted.

Hunted another Narga and a Brachy in Moga forest at lunch time. Got the Narga Eye and Big Obsidian 5 Star trade items, so I'll have enough to get 2 more Heftcorns and thus the Cornpopper Gunlance :D

Same thing happened last time my brother and I tried that (think we only tried once or twice, though), but, then again, he was refusing to cooperate with me in attacking the large one and carted due to trying to defeat the small one and getting hit by what should've been our target ">.>
Just when I thought it was too late to get any sort of crown, "Nerves of Steel" pulled through and gave me the large gold crown for Steel Uragaan last night... A bit ironic after I had noticed how much larger one of their chins was compared to the other one while they were standing chin-to-chin one moment in area seven, yet had disregarded this as meaning nothing >.> I had done a good amount of hunting yesterday, reached HR 155, and ended the night well with that one crown for the day. Fourteen left now

You can always do regular G.Plessy to get crowns. It's really a pain to fight them on ground and hitboxes on Father are so broken that it's impossible to pierce-gun this thing. Or even gun/bow. I believe i haven't done this quest yet and my crowns comes from normal g. plessy quests. Taking down Father without good team is uber hard.

I'm probably going to have to farm regular green plesi. My team mates couldn't put out enough damage after I paralyzed it multiple times. I also tried poison and slime without any luck. That thing has too much HP for slime

Agreed. Best backup plan would probably be that double Green Plesioth advanced quest or the one with a green and regular one (if I'm recalling the available advanced quests correctly off the top of my head)... Been debating doing that double green one to try to get the large crown myself if my brother doesn't cooperate the next time we try to take down the "father" Plesioth. I'm sure we could, but I'll just have to either kill the "son" first with him so he'll just leave it be or talk him into just getting the father done with for me, what with him not trying to get the crown awards, anyway ">.>
Didn't get any crowns yesterday, but I did do a good amount of forging and ranked up to 159 before I called it quits for bed. Hoping today will lead to another six ranks and a crown.

Bought the the 3DS version of MH3U again on the 3DS eShop as it was on sale for about £24. Started a new character (Meredyth) and will be playing through on my 3DS. I'm at the quest to find Junior now, so I've just started.
It's really nice to have a more comfortable way to play MH3U, as I don't really like off-TV play and the 3D does make a nice change sometimes.

This, Arena is not my forte, and I only did it because I helped my friend with her arena, as we were the only ones that were online, she wanted the earrings so I helped her out, in turn getting my earrings also... apart from that Arena has low piority on my to-do list...

Got my large gold crown for Agna yesterday, thank goodness... With how often another monster would pop up in "The Sea of Flame," I actually felt paranoid just doing it ">.> I did a little bit of weapon upgrading, such as making the Master Kettleblower and Crown of Taurus, and, along with Agna, hunted some Diablos and Crimson Qurupeco. The crown hunting for Crimson Qurupeco led to "Qurupeco Two-step" every now and then, so Qurupecos were added in, too, even though I already have the Qurupeco's crowns. For today, the now-usual, starting with "Field Study" due to not having the large gold crown for Gigginox.

So there I was.. I saw that monster in front of me!! i knew one of us was going to go dow.. one of us was going to die and I was determined it might not be me!!! IT MIGHT NOT BE ME!!!
I decided for this hunt to use my GS, slower than other weapons but powerful. I entered area 2 of the D.Island and it was already there.. I did not see me. I crouched down and attemped to sneak up on it. Amazingly I was right on it before it responded. I roled forward and began to swing.. it atacked I responded.. we were both now locked in a battle to the death!!! this day man and beast collided. After what seemed like hours blow after blow the beast began to run.. I would not let it. I swung my mighty sword once more and it fell over screaming!!! I carved it's hide getting what I came for, "RAW MEAT!!!!!" I yelled! This Aptanoth hunt went well this day! on to the next.

Well, this is dcj in question... Never know xD Got my large gold crown for Diablos yesterday, thankfully... I do enjoy Diablos and Black Diablos hunts, but I'm ready for a break from both of them... Fought quite a few Crimson Qurupecos and Gigginox and their subspecies, with a few Brachydios, too. Also did some forging, including the Miasmethyst and Amethyst Blade, and reached rank 164.

Done some general hunting with my friend today, helped her get Miralis gunner, then she joined her friend which holds a grudge against me ( I await her return to me) Joined another friend whose friend wanted Cruel King, I offered to status gun, and did the first one with only 1 death, (not by me) and capped in 20mins, I say I surprised myself since I've never stat gunned before

OT - Did some hunting the other day. Got some H. Jhen Allbraces (I still need more of them, though) which helped me upgrade a weapon of mine.

That's a pretty good team ya got there..
I've been hunting Jhen for his Armor, so far only have the Chest and Feet. But from my recent kill I got off of him, I just need a Rathalos Plate, Rathian Plate and Earth Dragongem.. Which are all pretty rare.. So this is going to be a pain. Also, gemmed all my Rathian S Armor with Tremor Resistance, and put a Tremor Res +5 Talisman on. So yea. I'm hoping the Jhen will turn out somewhat the same..
