Can't tell if you have good luck or bad. Good cause ya got a Gem, bad cause you can't get any Blood. If you want Blood, I'd wait for Jhen. He had it for me every battle.

Aye, what Amaku says is true, you're better off farming High Rank Jhen, he's easier to take down than G Rank, and he drops bloods like it was Santa's sack of goodies, if you have him in port and can access online, he's about a 10min hunt.

Sounds llke capturing the monster would've really helped. Now that you mention it, that would've solved the problem easily x3 Well, unless all of the traps of those in that quest were used by then, but I would hope otherwise ^^" And there in lies the problem... No bomb casings to make tranq bombs... I was doing the hunt in between farming for stones and iron ore... completely out and for over a week Granny has not sold anything of use. (for those who don't know me or have not hunted with me I have a hunting set for.. well everything trapping, mining, charming, farming, even pooping(dung master ;) )

Besides the triple cart part, I've had that happen before, where I attempt to capture something, which turns out to not be ready, then it turns out it only needed a few more hits before it was ready... I really don't like when this happens >.>

| I trip Cart offten.. but that's because my first time against every monster I go against is with a full set of supplies, my favorite weapon and no armor at all... Not chakra.. just completely nude. I feel it's a good way to figure out the monster and how it moves and behaves, it also allows me to practice my own skills a bit more. | |

lot's of people do the high and G ranks solo.. it takes more time and and a lot of work but you can do it. I would suggest learning which weapon is best and what skills and elements work best against which monsters.

| Can't you go over to a friends house or something and ask if you could use their Wii-U?
Although that probably won't work if you come over just for that.. I mean, I Would.

| Back from my huge break from this game, decided to get some remaning awards, such as completing all quest. Sad thing is, I already did, but i'm not in the required HR yet to get the reward :c So now I have to HR grind just so I can finish the last quest. Already HR 93.... This is gonna take a while. | |

Although that probably won't work if you come over just for that.. I mean, I Would. I'm pretty sure my sister and I are the only people in our whole town that knows what MH is. In other news: I sucessfully did "Bye-Bye Bloom" in the port...and Peco never got a chance to call Evil-Jho. Always lobbed a sonic-bomb at him when he tried and broke his beak. X3 And as he was trying to limp away, I knocked him over and put a trap pretty much right under him and caught him.

| It's been about a month or two since I've played. It's in my Sister's 3DS, which I have no idea where it is. And I hate it when my DS dies in the car :/. Most of the time I'm listening to the radio though. But I play it sometimes when we go on Road Trips. | |

| The monster hunter gods helped me today. I managed to get a bloody cloudymoonshard today. I killed lots of Lucent nargacuga just to get this one item, but later quited. I felt like fighting him today, cause I was bored, and wouldn't you know it, I got his moonshard in a shiny, pretty cool. | |

| So I decided to fight the Deviljho in the "Jaggia Menace" quest on my second file which had just got to High Rank, with my Rathalos set and Barbarian Blade...and I managed to catch him in thirty minutes. Had I known I wouldn't get any capture rewards, I would've killed him.

| Today I realised how blind I was. This whole time I was under impression that my signature set can't be improved any further. I was deeply wrong.
The answer was really simple - mix of Blos S and Grand Yamato. Results greatly extend my expectations. Still can't believe I overlook this... and God, how awesome it looks!
Final skills:
Critical Eye+2 Critical Draw Tremor Res Rock Steady Focus
Weapon: Altheos Evolutia or Merak's Asterism for awesome 50% affinity whole time.
Charm: Crit Draw+5, Expert+10
I'm amazed. /yes/ | |
