I'm new here. I only started playing MH when tri came out in 2010 or so. I love the game and Gobul armor (even though it sucks, i cosmetically love it for its looks lol).

Hi all! Long time lurker, first time poster. MH3 is my first foray into the MH series, and still having a blast with it after over a year of playing.

I've read the forums since the spring, and learned quite a bit. Wish more online players read them, too.

I'm primarily a hammer and switch-axe user. Offline, I add in the LS. Yeah, I learned to dodge and evade, not block and guard.

Looking forward to talking MH with everyone!

Hi Guys,

Name is Mainieri. I have been playing MHFU for about 1 year now. I'm stuck on one game where hunter uses swords (Longswords mainly but used Dual Swords and Great Swords a bit).

Now I have a char focusing mainly on bows. Started recently, only 40 hours on the game, but looking forward on kicking a"# with bow (almost sure it's possible).

I will be reading A LOT now that I found this site and hopefully will be able to play more online (mainly stuck offline due to PSP and old software).

Have a Good One and Let's bring all those monsters DOWN!

Hello fellow hunters. Long time player & forum lurker, but I have never made an account till today.

Mainly play MHFU and I am proud to say I was able to make G rank solo, as well as solo kill Ukanlos after my upteenth attempt.

I have these forums to thank for letting me find Ad-Hock for the PS3, since that so greatly expanded my playing buddies from... non-existant, to a good bunch.

Main reason I joined after so many years of being just an observer is because I wanted to make a post on the non-MH games about a game I recently found out about, that seems to be completely flying under the radar of the MHWiki forum community, and which we might enjoy. Thought it would be rude to mention it before introducing myself... so, yeah... here I am /yes/

But anyways, I hope to see you all in MH3U once it's out, and Happy Hunting!

As a long time player of Monster Hunter, when I stumbled onto this game (today) I was very excited about it.

In my mind, nothing can replace Monster Hunter for me, but after many years of playing the MH series with nothing new out there for us currently, I was overjoyed to see this game.

It will be released in a little over 2 weeks, and I haven't played it yet, so my opinion on it is very subjective to what I have seen and read. Take it as you see fit. It looks like it plays just like Monster Hunter, but is a bit more cartoonish, has less overall monsters and seems to be a slight step down from Monster Hunter, but after so many years of the same and the next MH being about 6 months away, it is so refreshing to have something to try out.

Anyone else feel like giving this game a shot or otherwise?

Well i'm new here, i play MHFU, i was recently supposed toi get started on MHTri but my brither soent the money but now important. My name'll be Will and I'm pretty good with just about anything, but I'm best with blades. I got to HR8 on MHFU on a borrowed PSP but i couldn't buy that one to keep so i had to start again, currently at HR5 with Rathian armour.

Is that enough? i look forward to hunting until the Tri servers go down!
