Without a good talisman, you can't have a "good" clusting set for Alatreon. https://mhwiki.forumotion.net/t5303-fastest-kills-guide-to-cluster-gunningThere's actually better sets out there, but that's generally what you're aiming for. Load Up, Recoil Down+3, and Clust S All Up. You need a good tali. No good tali, no "good" clust set. You can make a makeshift clust set, but it will not be as time effective as that.

You need: 3 Hunter King Coins (Obtainable from any HR31+ Arena) 5 Agnaktor Coins (Obtainable only from Ice and Fire Arena) 3 Gobul Coins (Obtainable from Offline Gobul and Lagiacrus Arena or Online Sea Power Arena) 4 Deviljho Coins (Obtainable only from Land Lords Arena) Good luck ;)

| I did it with gleam and jho armor, so it is possible. Not much tip for you: you have enough time to use the dragonator twice. use the bombs in the beginning on the horn and don't balista its a waste of time and you get hit more than attacking. When he goes red he is going to roar lance counter, block or shield advance for hit and to avoid the roar. Gleam should be able to hit the horn without bouncing. Don't lance charge since it kills your sharpness and the three poke do more damage. This is how I do it, but there are better ways.
If your using low rank armor that I do not know how to do it or if possible. Adrenaline maybe? Not much help be its the best I can do.

what about cha cha, feline mask, with bombarder, and rage? For me I take down ceadus simply easy with HGE, Sharp+1, AUL which required the +7atk 00 tali. try to get sharp+1 with AUL, its a whole lot better than EAU.

My Method for Ceadeus is full Vangis Armor, gemmed in for AUL and Speed Sharpen. (You'll need either a Atk+5 00 or a Atk+5 0 slot with a 0 slot weapon, Gleam in this case. You'll have AUL Sharp+1 Autotracker, Speed Sharpening, and Raise Hunger. Use a megadash juice to counter hunger and poke away. Ceadeus will die in 13-18min. (varies depending on whether you ate for AUS or AUL)

Low Rank would have near-equivalent health and damage to the ones in Offline. High-Rank monsters have substantially increased Health, Defense, and Attack. Their attacks can potentially One-hit KO or cause assured lethal damage you if you're wearing Low-Rank armor. (Depending on the monster etc) This is why during HR 31. You are made to re-hunt weaker monsters but in their High-Rank versions. So the process repeats itself to a point.

Also low rank monsters are extremely easy with the end game weapons you get in high rank!

When you go online and get to a city. Talk to the little boy next to the trading lady. He sells Toadstools. Use them like a potion, and watch your health decrease, now set a LBB/LBB+ and blow yourself up. Do it again. Do it again, only this time blow yourself up with a Small Bomb S. Now off you go.

| N.B. I'm still in Low Rank. I'm also a firm believer in using appropriately leveled equipment Online. (Just like how they do it in the Arena.)
1. I'm redoing all my armor sets. Ignoring weapons, e.g. GS with Baggi, how would you tier or group the monsters? Low, Medium, High? Normal, Underwater, Brute, Superfast (Nox/Bari)? Are their any monsters that just need their own set? *cough*Rathalos*cough*
2. With Bowguns do you buy your ammo on sale or so you Combine them yourself? What ammo is better to just buy than Combine? Is it better to save Combining material so you can have more bullets on a Quest?
3. With Bowguns when you bulk restock your ammo about how many stacks of 99 do you aim for? I'll accept "there is never too many" for some types of ammo and would appreciate them being pointed out.
4. Is it me or does it take longer to solo a quest with a Great Sword having to time things just right? I don't mind, I just need to know if I'm still rusty or if this is the norm.

| Don't use level approprite, use the best you got, get'r'done.
for #2, Almost all the ammo is cheaper to buy than to combine your own for. that in mind for #3, you don't need to keep ammo itself around, mostly just precursors,
for #4 On GS, Sometimes, you just have to go for the quick snipe. L3 openings are great, but draw slash ain't bad.
About 3 unsheath attacks are worth a single l3 charge. So, if you miss 3 unsheathes waiting for dat L3 charge, you're missing damage.
