Not a single plate. Brother does the quest once. Gets 2 plates. WTF Monster hunter? Welcome to the world of RNG. Shit like that happens all the time, I had the same problems when I played MHTri in offline mode I couldn't get that damn horn for the life of me, then went online solo'd my 2 star urgent and got one. You just have to keep trying and hope for the best. If I remember right capturing leads to better results for rare mats.

| I am currently stuck on the seven-star quest Shocking Development.
I currently wield/wear:
A Red Bludgeon +
and
a full set of Jaggi S Armor
Would there be a better set of armor I could farm that might have higher resistance to what Baleful Nox can throw at me?

| I assume Shocking Development is B.Gigginox?
For that quest I'd go for a better armor, I used a set with HGE, (Azure Los) and a Gunlance, I think it was the Red Rook, or something fire, this essentially give you better defense and a skill that negates the roars, hopefully that helps out, Don't worry with the Thunder Res as with the earplugs skill, you shouldn't be anywhere near him when he does the Para/Discharge attack.

Looks like it's the Village B.Giggi quest. Armor wise, not much up to that point has HGE (Azure Los is 8* in offline), but Evade+1 can be used to roll through Nox roars (takes practice, of course). Volvi S could work here, since it also gives AUM without gemming. I'd have to look around what else was available in HR, but I only used Volvi S and Jaggi S in HR, so YMMV. Maybe Peco U? That should have high thunder resistance, and wind resistance (which helps with the leaps). If you're going to use hammer, try for Plesioth Head. B.Giggi's top weaknesses are water and dragon (not fire), and Plesioth Head is the best available water hammer at this point. Plus its raw is higher than Red Bludgeon+, so you should see an improvement in damage output.

| Does anyone know where I might be able to find the elemental weaknesses for Azure Rathalos and Ivory Lagiacrus? Not what they are weakest to, but all of the numbers including statuses? Sleep and paralysis resistance for brachydios would also be great as the wiki does not list them.
Edit:nvm, I figured it out myself.

| I have a question about speed eating skill.
What's the difference between speed eating+1 and +2? I have +1 on my set and really don't see any difference between having it or no. I saw on videos ppl using +2, which really speeds up the eating animation. So +1 is just garbage/illusion/not worth?

| For B.Giggi I think Negate Paralysis would be the best skill, along with just High Thunder Resistance, but I don't think you can't completely stop any of his attacks.
You can however stop his triple along the ground shot from paralyzing by breaking his head. he still does the attack but instead the electricity is blue and doesn't paralyze.
Surprisingly the regular Gigginox Armor (and its High Rank equivalent) has decent Thunder resist on it, I actually used it to beat I.Lagi the first time

| I have a question, what's the difference between Wide-Range+1 and +2? I read somewhere that +1 is only 50% effective. Is that true? Also what about the distance?
In Tri i used Grace Earring often and i know Wide-Range+2 affects everyone in the same area as you are, but what about Wide-Range+1? I heard that you need to be very close to your buddies.
Can anyone put some light into this skill in 3U?

| wide range+2 is the same as wide range+1, cept it heals your teammates for the full potion, while +1 is only half. | |

| I believe Wide Range +2 affects the seed duration for every one else, but not the initial time. that is if your teammates get a time reduction at WR+1 | |

| I checked it yesterday, Wide-range+1 works on antidotes just fine. Still dunno about the seeds and time duration. Need clarification. Oh btw i got item use up on the same set so it may neglate this side effect. | |

| So what's the point in being able to break Zinogre's back? I've done it a few times but nowhere has information on rewards for it (and I dont think I've gotten anything from it in game either)
Its a definite break, the parts that stick out when he's charged are cracked and chipped, still noticeable barely when he's not charged as well. Also since I've never gotten rewards with it broken I'm wondering if its a double break like his horns
