| I started a new character (I was only at moga village 5* anyway) and got charm table 6 :-) Thanks for all the advice. I think I will focus on one Gunner weapon and one Blademaster weapon to start out. I was doing pretty well with DS and LS on my previous save, going to try bow or LBG and lance or gunlance now :D Happy hunting | |

| Hi all.
Got a question about Elder Dragon Bloods, they're currently not listed under either Ceadeus or Jhen in the Wiki, have they been taken from their respective rewards/carve yields? Just wondering if its a case of the Wiki not being updated yet, or whether I've to wait until the Ala/Dire to upgrade my items. Any answers appreciated.

| ElderDragonBlood comes from Ceadeus, G. Ceadeus, Ala, Miralis, Jhen and hollowed Jhen. On Jhen quests they got highest chance. I recommend doing high rank Jhen to get it because it's way easier to solo him or if you're playing online do G rank versions for other mats. Just remember to break its back and wrists. | |

| Devil: Don't worry about "charm Tables" you really have the same chances of gettting good charms regardless of your table due to the amount og charms in the game and because many armor sets have a lot of skills you will be fine for the most part and can work on everything else as you get there. As far as Gunner/Blademaster together.. It's fine to do just note you will have to do a lot more farming and gathering missions and will need to spend more $$. Take the time to focus on maybe one or two armors per blade/gunner and the same with each weapon to cut down on the amount of supplies and cost needed. Also.. Just learn how everything works.. | |

| Would it be possible to stay gunner and start working towards blademaster after I got everything for my gunner gear? Won't I need at least one blademaster set for breakables? Getting tails etc with bows seems...very tedious :P Thanks for all the advice again | |

| .. well, I main bows and though tail carves do help on some things, in 3U it's not really needed since you can still get tails and everything from carves as a hunt, break, capture reward..
And as far as breaking parts with a bow.. Using the Blast ARC on a bow is amazingly well adapted to that. As far as cutting you have the slash attack and bomarangs to assist also... So, no you don't really need to switch back and forth at all.

| Don't bother using the wiki anymore besides weapon paths (Even then it's kind of unfinished).

I have yet to throw out any armors so far. Including LR armors. Once I run out of room in my box, will I start getting rid of armors. So yeah, I'd hang on to them.

The only armor I have jettisoned was my low rank gathering leather set as I have a much better one now. Might as well hang on to everything else as you usually have tons of space in the box.

| Is there some way to get Cap'n to be a part of the Hunting Fleet?
Or does just Red hunt?
I ask because I need Pale Extracts, I know I should be fighting Nox for them, but he is just such a pain to fight!

I ask because I need Pale Extracts, I know I should be fighting Nox for them, but he is just such a pain to fight! You mean send the fleet to hunt monsters? Then it has to be in a special day. In their status they should say something like "it's a good day, we may hunt monsters today" or something like that. If there is a message like that then you should be able to send them hunt monsters. Now my question: Does Rathalos still appear as a Free Moga hunt in daytime? He appeared in Tri as a free hunt once you killed him in his quest.

Yes, Rathalos and Lagi both return to the daytime Free Hunts. I haven't noticed any change from Tri to Ultimate in the daytime hunts. The problem is that I still don't have Rathalos available as a free hunt even after I cleared all the low village quests. Do I have to kill Rathalos? When I did the quest I captured him.

| Honestly just hunt large monsters simple as that or you can abuse the trade system. Where you trade them all to a friend power off then trade them all back leaving you with double the amount and you can just go back and forth. | |
