| Speaking of mashing buttons. Am I supposed to mash them to get out of a stun? Because if so, I hate it. I ALWAYS roll after getting out of a stun, almost always into a monsters attack, getting me killed... It has happened way too many times. | |

Chagrilled sorta answered to this aswell but I win the arm wrestling always just by spinning the movement stick ... Fast!

After a stun, if your spinning the analog stick, your character is going to roll into the direction your spinning the stick. i noticed this before, so when I'm stunned I spin it in the direction im least to get hit.

Basically, just put your fingers on every movable part and have as large of a seizure as you can.

| What's the fastest way to get Lagia Sapphires? I need two of them at least. I was thinking about tail farming HR Ivory Lagi (cutting tail immediately after quest starts, if fail carving gem = abandon). Is it good idea? I choose I. Lagi because it's easier to cut it's tail on land, also % is higher than normal one and monster is weaker than G rank versions.
Also Mark of Hero is not an option here because it takes too much time. I need those gems right now -__-

| mark of a hero has a 4% chance on quest rewards, not sure how quick it can easily be done though. otherwise i would prefer triple g rank lagi. | |

| It's 4% on tail carve from HR Ivory. I can cut the tail in 5-7 minutes or less. Mark of hero took me 30 minutes last time to complete. I can do 6 tails in that time.
Also triple G rank lagi quest give me only mantles. Funny thing is that G rank Ivory have also only 4% chance from tail. So naturally it's batter to do HR.

| using your numbers on the first one, you get on average 8 quest rewards so it's actually better to do mark of a hero then. factor in lucky cat or good/great luck and it's even better.
i think g rank triple lagi takes like...15 minutes? not sure if you're stuck soloing though, but than that's also far better numbers wise too, if you cap as well.
if you're using carving master on hr ivory though, it balances out compared to mark of a hero with great luck (i think, not sure how much great luck boosts on average). it still loses to triple g rank lagi with cap master though.
in the end i prefer doing full quests to tail abandon runs cause i get other rewards at least.

| I have so much mats of lagi that it's not a viable argument for me. 4% is high enough, i'll try 10 times tail farm it today, it should take me around 1 hour. Also forgot to mention that i play on 3DS so yeah i solo it. Triple lagi quest takes longer for me to complete. | |

| So I am making a pierce HBG set for Goldbeard farming and I am torn between the following loadouts. Will be using the Griffon Blazooka.
Unscathed Crit Eye +3 Pierce Up
or
Recoil Down +1 Crit Eye +3 Pierce Up
Any comments on what will be the better setup from a DPS perspective? I hear recoil down +1 is good for recoiless pierce 3 shots but didnt know if the damage increase from unscathed outweighed dealing with the recoil. I am a bit constrained on the Pierce up due to a +4 tali instead of a +5, but i do have a +9 Expert one I use with the first loadout.

| You should use these skills:
Challenger+2 Recoil Down+1 Pierce/Pierce Up
Easy to make, best overall. Before making this set i used to have Crit Eye+3 instead of Challenger+2 and the results were worse... a lot.
Also i'm also very upset that Griffon Blazooka require Recoil Down+1 to be usefull at all. If you want to use other HBG without need of this skill go for Lucent Narga HBG.

Yeah but is challenger useful when goldbeard dies so fast? I guess I am not sure if he even has time to rage given how much flinching is being done to him. Yeah I will probably make the Lucent Narga HBG but I have been unsuccesful in getting the moonshards I need and I had a hard horn to finish the blazooka. Also with a team of four gunner we were taking him down in about 3-4 minutes, but that was with people taking time to carve the horns when they broke. I imagine it would have been faster if we continually shot him so the current results arent bad. Much better way to make money than the farm or any other monster for me right now.

If you have gotten to the G. Narg, then you could try out the set that has: Challenger +2, Crit Eye +2, Pierce up. With that set you'll have to use the siege mode glitch, which you may not want too. But done right, you can siege mode all levels of pierce, because you can hold all levels of pierce. If you have made the A. Lagi HBG, then use that and you'll be able to easily get Crit Eye +3, instead of +2. If you want, I could give you the set with those skills.

| So right now I only have a few Bowgun armors and weapons, specifically the following
Full High Rank Azure Los Combo set for Pierce Up
Bowguns Griffin Blazooka Kettleblower (1 paw ticket from full upgrade)
I plan on getting the Lucent HBG when i get some moonshards and maybe the Dracannon. Any recommended must have HBG's or LBG's so I dont waste my time. I think I might use the kettleblower as my main status gun, but recommendations would be helpful.

| God's Archipelago best status gun for speedruns in game. Status is not only about inflicting status. Kettleblower is a fine toy to play, but doesn't stand a chance against God's Archipelago. Use it with recoil down+2 and load Up. Rest is optional, i recommend trap master and bombardier. If you have right tali you can get this godly set - Spoiler:

Is that set even possible? I mean... does that talisman even exists? also, does the cosmic mask coins have any purpose or are just there to be sold?
