| There's nothing too interesting to explore. You can fully explore a map as many times as you want with enough observation within 50 minutes. I don't ever recall region exploration without a quest timer. You're not missing much since the only significant parts of a map are its secret areas and shortcuts. | |

| Ok I guess you're right, I guess it's just not having that option that bothers me, more of the principle.
Anyways, a few more newby questions:
-When I accept a quest, what do the different color squares above my head represent? -What's the difference between accepting quests at the moga village and the tavern area?
That's it for now, I'm sure I'll think of more in a bit...

| I assume by "except" you mean "accept" (Note that both have an entirely different meaning).
Green represents gathering quests, red represents slaying quests, grey represents capturing quests, and blue represents Arena quests.
There is no difference between the two. Tanzia Port just has G Rank and a few exclusive monsters. Although some low rank monsters can only be fought in village because there is no Tanzia Port version of it, such as Great Froggi if I recall correctly.

| Ok how does the day/night cycle work in the village? How do I know when it's been a day? And when is it ever night in the moga woods?
Also, how do you know your village level? When you do the harvest tour, do the same monsters appear as usual? Also, how do you choose night or day when free hunting?

| you get the option, once you reach high rank village quests (5 star onwards i think?), to pick day or night time when you go to moga woods.
village level = stars
harvest tour afaik doesnt have guaranteed monsters, at the very least the monsters will be different each time.
you probably dont have the option cause you're not in high rank village yet.

Day and Night is now divided into Day = Low Rank and Night = High Rank. You only get night when you clear Cedeus and then defeat Purple Ludroth. Village level is low or high rank and is subdivided into levels so just look at the quests available and that is your current available level. Harvest tour is generally always the same, there does seem to be a difference in mining on a normal hunt quest, ie better items and rocks. When available to you, when you go to enter Moga Woods, you will be given a pop up option of hunting day or night. There will also be a forecast for day and night once you have access to it.

| When you reach high rank in the village, you get the option to hunt high rank monsters in the Moga Woods. You can tell a day has passed by looking at the Moga Forecast, for instance if you see that today's forecast is a G.Jaggi and tomorrow's is Royal Ludroth; when you complete a mission and today's new forecast is Royal Ludroth, a day has passed. Before going to the Moga Woods, you will be prompted to choose whether you want to hunt in the day or night. If you select day, you will hunt low-rank monsters in the day. If you choose night, you will hunt high rank monsters in the night.

You also have different quests sets for low and high ranks as well as the mentioned G-Rank. Port Low monsters and POrt High monaters (in most cases) should have greater attack and health than the Village versions. Port further offers the Challenge quests, event quests and Granny Go to. Village on the other hand offers more Low rank quests and more High rank quests as well as allows you to follow the ummm Story Line. You will also be able to get Shakalaka masks and other items in the Village you can not get by playing port only. A good ballance of the two, both port and village exploration will help you have a more complete experiance.

| ^ no.
there are only 2 ways monsters regain any health: 1: by sleeping and 2: That darn peco!!!!!
Monster can regain stamina however by going into rage mode or eating (in some case taking a nice bath under a waterfall...)

| Use Slime GL (Dios GL) with Sharpness+1, artillety expert and bombardier. Abuse dragonator. In the beggining destroy glowing area on his tail. On land stay in his crouch and focus on legs. When he falls down attack it's hands untill they broke. Bring cha-cha with lamp mask and kayamba in artillery mask. Remember to attack and not block all the time. With gunlance you shouldn't use too many potions too. He should be dead after 40 minutes max. I'm also doing it solo and that's how i roll. The first time i face it i was using dragon lance but now i use found slime to be better on him. | |

| ^From the secret areas like any other map basically.
The technique I used to get mine was pretty fast:
1) Low defense or no armor 2) Dual Azurous Quest in 6* 3)Eat for explorer, Fish and Drink iirc 4)Use Voucers if not fresh 5)Gather 6) Go die 7)Rinse, Repeat.
Worked for me, got all the slickaxe's I needed for my combo book award in about 20 minutes.

| Got question about guns, ammo and recoil. Need clarification if i need recoil down+1 on my arken antiphon, i use it for normal lv2 spam? Siege mode and without.
The same question about eclipse gambit, Pierce lv2, lv3?
I also use griffon blazooka but in this case i'm 100% sure that recoil down+1 is required for pierce shots.

| You don't need Recoil Down+1 on Normal Shots, it's really a waste. You really want Normal Up and Evade Extender as your top skills, following that I would add and other damage skill. Pierce shots should always be backed up by Recoil Down+1, same for pellets. Some instances that you wouldn't need it (or rather would be difficult to get) would be for Pierce Adrenaline/ Heroics setups. | |
