I don't know. From my experiences, no. I really wish there is/was one.

| I have started a new game, this time using Dual Swords as my weapon.
I am wondering if this is a good armor path for a DS'er:
Alloy Rathalos Alloy+ Rathalos+ (or whatever the HR Rathalos armor is called)
Those four I know has Speed Sharpener, a most useful armor skill to a Dual Sword user.

| i wouldn't go for speed sharpener. rather go for sharpness (less sharpness loss) or sharpness+1 on your armor as you can easily gem in speed sharpen later (if you have at least 5 slots) | |

Those four I know has Speed Sharpener, a most useful armor skill to a Dual Sword user. That's not a bad route to go, as speed sharpening is a useful skill with any weapon that either hits allot, or has low sharpness. Low Rank armors don't matter all that much tbh, because everything is so weak, and you automatically start out with 50 armor. I used jaggi armor up to High Rank (Not saying you use it) and the low armor never mattered. I'd say get use alloy armor and get to High Rank as fast as you can, and then get the High Rank alloy armor. From there, wait till you can get Azure Rathalos armor and get that. As that has earplugs, critical eye, and razor sharp, which are all good skills for the DS.

| Speed Sharpening and Rathalos will do just fine. I went from Leather > Qurupeco > Rathalos > Lagiacrus > Brachydios > Rathalos Soul.
The brachy armor came from just wanting to have the new flagship monster's armor. Of course Razor Sharp is a better skill to have but as E&Troy said, Low rank doesn't really matter as most armor sets only have one or good armor skills. You should advance to high rank pretty quick where you can work on some better gear.

| I was wondering, is it only advanced quests that have a higher chance of spawning gold crown monsters, or do multiple monster quests work just as well (basically, does the I. Lagiacrus and Gobul -HR 8 quest- have just as high of a chance of spawning a gold crown I. Lagiacrus as the advanced, double I. Lagiacrus quest?) | |

| From what most people have told me and what I have noticed, quests with multiple monsters whether its same monster or different, and G-rank, that the chance is high for a gold crown. I can't find any site that confirms that, but thats what I go by. | |

| I was thinking about it, and how do double quests allow you to get a gold crown easier?
I mean, say you save your game, do a quest with two monsters, and the first one is a gold crown. So you don't save and you quit the game. You start back up, do a different quest (where you only have to kill one monster) and get the gold crown for that.
Now, what I'm wondering is, if you don't save the game, how does MH3U know that you even DID a quest with multiple monsters before you quit and restarted? And if it doesn't know (which I assume it doesn't, since you didn't save when you quit), then how do multiple monster quests give you a higher chance for a gold crown?
I'm not sure if I got off what I was trying to say.
Summery: Does doing advanced quests really give you a higher chance for getting gold crowns to spawn?

| I am considering restarting again, this time as a weapon master.
I would try to make all weapons, upgrade all weapon styles, and carry all weapon lines to their end(s.)
Is this a good idea, or should I stick with one style (for example, the hammerer or sword user would be flummoxed by Gigginox on the ceiling if he or she has not practiced a long-range weapon.)
BTW, I am considering this armor progression:
Arzuros / Jaggi / Wroggi / Baggi then again in HR.

| Well... I only have one account, and I use all weapons. You might as well do this on one main file, unless your specific on what weapons you use on a certain file. | |

| I've got another question about my new Hammer/Long Sword/Dual Sword weaponmaster:
Should I make all possible armor sets; as some armor sets may have skills that would work better with Hammers and not as well with bladed weapons; and other armor sets work better with bladed weapons and not as well with hammers?
BTW, I currently wear LR Great Jaggi Armor.

BTW, I currently wear LR Great Jaggi Armor. You are correct with some armors being better with certain weapon types, but unless you actually want to stay in LR and get the armors (which aren't that good compared to HR), then I'd not recommend getting allot of armor sets. If anything (Jaggi armor is good, I used it up to HR, then got HR Jaggi armor), you could get 3 armor sets. One for each weapon type.

Rusted Fragments aren't too hard to get, not harder than Long Fragments. The fast and cheap way is to continue to do the Prescription Pickup quest (Kelbi runs) until you have the 4* trip available (Pirates Tomb), then abuse the Quit w/o Saving trick. Equip 2 Kelbi Horns before you start the quest, trade them in and take the 2 from rewards. When you have the 4* trip available, SAVE. This way the loot will reset when you reload the game. Put a power paddle on your fleet to speed up the process 2 days. Make sure you saved before sending the fleet anywhere. Then send your fleet to Dark Waters, Moga Strait, and Pirate’s Tomb. Do Kelbi runs until your fleet is back, make sure you DON’T save after you finish the runs. When your ships come back check to see if you have rusted fragments, if not rinse and repeat.

| Depends on what you use it for. My set that I absolutley love for Ala gunning or just general status gunning (not speed runs) is
Gods Archipelago
Status Attk+2 Recoil Down+2 Bonus Shot Load Up
Status Attack +6 talisman
Now I know people say recoil down doesn't matter on LBG Rapid fire, but the recoil down isn't for the Crag or Clusts, its for everything else that doesn't rapid fire. Then the Bonus Shot is just amazing for the extra crag and clusts shots. And Status Attack +2 is just godly.

| I'm working well with my new tri-weapon character, and I have his three weapons set up like this:
Hammer - for raw damage (especially knockouts) - he currently has a War Hammer (to be upgraded to a War Hammer + when Isisium becomes available)
Long Sword - for elemental damage - he currently has an Iron Gospel and Iron Katana waiting to be upgraded
Dual Swords - for status effects (such as poison and paralysis) - he currently has a pair of Matched Slicers + waiting to be upgraded
Are these the "correct" ways to use these three weapons?
