| I heard somewhere that arena is the only way of getting barrage earring and sword saint earring. You need to clear every arena quest at least for A rank to get them, can anyone confirm this? What about grace earring? | |

| I'm not sure if this has been answered before, and sorry if it has been, but how will the Hunter Rank system work in MH3U? Will it be like MHFU and go from 1 to 9 or like Tri? | |

| It's actually a mix of the two. Also something a lot of people don't know. Even when playing the port quests offline your Hunter Points are still kept track of. Even on the 3DS. So when you do go online... You may se a sudden jump in your HR. But only after you've completed the required Port quest to start earning HR points of course. | |

It worked the exact same in Tri. Those items are only obtainable through Arena because they require coins. Some coins like Pinnicle and Hunter King Coins must meet the requirements of achieving an A or S rank on an Arena quest - Traiaprax wrote:

You rank up every time you complete an Urgent Quest. There are a total of 8 ranks to achieve from doing quests AFAIK. After you achieved the final Hunter Rank, the system reverts to Tri's HR system where you earn HR points instead of Guild Points, meaning you can go beyond hr8. The final rank is hr999. You also get the title "Monster" for being hr999, and a light blue name. source: http://mh3neko32.blog83.fc2.com/blog-entry-1705.html

| ^ Yup... Basically the best .. Um hum.. The ultimate way of getting HR.
So it actually works pretty well and even if you don't get the WiiU version or are unable to play online right away but still do port quests, you won't lose any points from it and will recieve them once you can play with others online. The new system works pretty great ImO.

I got a feeling that in Tri it work all at random. Sometimes i get S rank and didn't get HK Coins or Pinnacle coins, while sometimes i get B rank and get those. Also i heard on one video of ICEMANnoob that he obtain those two earrings by completing every arena with at least A rank instead of traiding it for some coins. Also i can't find grace earring on MHAG. Is it still in the game?

| ^ Yes you do get them for completing the arena quests this time as I understand it. The arena quest should be set up the same but the reward system is different.
As far as grace earrings. I'm pretty sure they are in the game but would have to look.

| I was wondering, once you download all of the event quests from online, to offline. (I'm pretty sure you can do that, right?) You should have every quest available without going online, I think. You can do all of the online exclusive quests in multiplayer though, can't you? | |

| Bill: https://mhwiki.forumotion.net/t9418-mh3u-full-features-listTroy: the way the event quest should work I believe is: the quests will rotate around for download availability, however, you may only have a certain amount of Event quests active/downloaded at a time. Once you download a new one the oldest one will be replaced. The full details on event quests haven't really been talked about though. So this could change. | |

| You can go to Tanja without connecting to the Internet , pretty much like Online and Offline Gathering Hall in Unite. There is no difference between the offline and online Port, though...just the multiplayer. | |

| Is it just me or the status effect does not stack with impact atk. My example is i used the parakeet hammer on ian, mutiple times. I can get off 3~4 stuns but not 1 paralze on her when i am for the head. the hammer does fatigue her occasionally so what you guys think. My perception was stun, paralze, fatigue, stun. Its too good to be true but its not working for me..... | |

Idk. Them bugs are super rare when you need them. I didn't start collecting them commonly until misty peaks, the start of high rank. My luck with carpenterbugs is bad.

| So whats the deal with Azure Rathalos on the cover now? (and Plesioth on the disc)?
I read in a few places that it was a marketing issue, can anyone elaborate on that? Sounds like a dumb reason to put a boring pre 3rd gen subspecies in place of an epic NEW monster

| They thought the rathalos would be more marketable for western audiences. Basically, they thought westerners would like the big blue dragon more than the slimy purple yoshi with horns and boxing gloves. | |
