well, first day of hunting. got a lot done.

fought my way all the way to lagiacrus, on the port I just defeated rathian

eat the food combo for water res, which is something + veg (i like meat + veg). and all of 4 options will give a res boost skill.

I know that combo, I use it all the time, but it doesn't change my hate for plessy >.>

At least it's hipcheck is not like the one in the original monster hunter :P

PumpkinSlayer, if you can catch me online I'll do soome Green Plesi with ya, I'm looking at getting it's armor as I could do with a decent underwater set as well (Agna set doesn't have the best water res)

I had a serious hunting w'end, finally got my Dire Miralis done, then farmed a few more and got it's SnS maxed. Went from HR 7 to HR 38 with that

Then farmed the Ala event a bit, tried it online first and wasn't expecting that much trouble after doing so many in Tri, but it seems they've tweaked some of the hitzones and I kept getting hit where/when I didn't in Tri :/ no trouble doing it online though so that was another Sns added to the collection, though I still don't have a good dragon SnS as I can't finish upgrading till the G rank Ala shows.

After that I just tried to work on the HR8 quests with random people, did my first G Rathian and S Rathalos on the same quest. Finished off last night with a S Zing a HR 7 random wanted, I carved a Skymerald then got another in the rewards, nice way to finish.

Been working on finishing some awards, namely the Trade rare items to the argosy captain. Think all i need is Gobul, Barroth and a Rathian to show up in the woods for me to try and get their commodity. Also working on the 1M resource point award, only 800K more to go

got my artisan's hammer award yesterday (10 weapons maxed in each class ....)
2 awards to go! (that will take forever lol)

Repelled Ceadeus today, I used the type 62 stormlance with volvidon gemmed for AUL and evade +1. It was really easy, i didn't even use the dragonator or ballist. I love wide type gunlances.

And so it begins.. my adventure through 3U.. Wish me luck! /ok/

Made just about all the gunner sets I need. Probably gonna grind to HR100 this week and finish the Arena quests. And this weekend work on getting a few more awards.

Have begun farming Regular Gigginox for his armor - I want something with Earplugs the next time I take on his Baleful brother...

I am also looking into a Poison Stinger bowgun; that's how I take down Bill (the regular Gigginox) and how I will take down Baleful, also - when you are shooting, two things become true:

1) I have a better chance of staying out of the range of his roars

and

2) He can no longer hide on the ceiling

It took me about twenty of the best minutes I've ever spent on a game shooting down Regular Nox; I cannot wait to turn Baleful into a porcupine...

I'm not sure about Baleful Gigginox, but the regular Gigginox needs HGE to block the roar. Just Earplugs won't cut it.

Confirmed on Charm Table 10.. now what weapon to use.

Under 15 arena quests left before all have been cleared with all weapons, too bad 4 of them are Narga. I hate that jerk!

Continued my arena grind, only 2 multi player quests left and 3 Jerkacuga before I have my piercings. A great thing about the arena is I found out that I really like the bow, which I didnt think I would, and I dont really care for the hunting horn.

finally beat alatreon offline today, took 2 tries with evade distance, crit eye 3, recoil down 1 and heat resistance. using HBG <eclipse gambit>

i was on table 6, which so far has fit any playstyle i wanted, so its great.

Farming Grank Narga for gunnerr X, got two mantles from one kill! Success.

^Eh, that’s my next goal after I finish these insane amounts of advanced quests.

This weekend I made all the HBG’s I wanted: Blos, Nether, and Miralis. Thinking about getting Eclipse Gambit. Farmed a shit ton of Earth Crystals to upgrade my God’s Island LBG, rage farmed getting all my Pawprint Stamps for Kettle LBG. Looks like I still need to finish all my advanced quests, then off to arena.

Finished Arena and got my piercings. Made the deadeye set with the coins except for the coil as i still need some sand barioth lashes. Now to focus on some advanced quests, finished Nox X gunner armor and working on weapons for the artisans award.
