| Been doing a lot, and I mean a lot of Kelbi runs trying to get the right monsters to appear in the Moga Woods. Working on getting the Argosy's License award right now, I need about 4 more commodities then i go it. On the side I'm working on farming high rank mats from the monsters in the woods for when I work on my Artisan's Hammer award. My guild card is coming together rather nicely =) Debating on whether I should renew my subscription for streaming as well.. | |

| Oh wow, High Rank was a bit harder than I was expecting. Pink Rathian had a couple of new attacks that I just couldn't seem to get used to, and it made me cart for the first time since I got the game. Other than that, I'm moving through the Key Quests, and I'm at Plesioth now. Hopefully my LR Wroggi armor will still hold up, it's been upgraded to 170 defense so far, but I'm still trying to decide what HR armor to go for. | |

| Today was pretty fun. Did some Steel Ura, a Lucent Nargacuga, and did a lot of G rank Jhen and Hallowed Jhen.
I finally decided to upgrade my Brach weapons because I was really lazy with them. I don't really use them anyways, so I was in no hurry to upgrade them. I was doing horribly on some Steel Uragaan runs because... I dunno I guess it was early. On one hunt I died as they killed the thing. Uragaan charged up for his rolly chin slam move, and the guy it was going after led it right to me (I was h. gunning). Yeah thanks buddy. I flew to the edge of the lava with a sliver of health left, and when I got up: dead. Fun stuff right there. Anyways I got what I needed and moved on.
I only hunted one L. Narga for my moonshard, but holy cow was it awful. I usually lance or gunlance it, but those were taken, so I used my sword and shield. I can sns most things, and I'm pretty good at it, so what could possibly go wrong? EVERYTHING. All of my mega pots, pots, and herbs. Gone. It was awful. I'm never doing that again.
Last on my list was Jhen. I did a couple G rank Jhen, and he wasn't as tough as I expected. Things went pretty well. Once I got my Earth Dragonsapphire, I moved onto Hallowed Jhen. It was my first time (even though I was HR 100... whooooops), so I expected the worst. He was easy. My group slayed it even though all of our timing on the gong and binder were off. I was really surprised. I got what I needed and called it a night. Oh yeah, I hunted one Abyssal Lagi, but that's it.

| Today after few weeks break from doing arena, i finished it by completing Stygian with HBG and Lagi with HBG. I was suprised that i made it after only few attempts. Obtaining S.S and Barrage piercing open the access for me to whole variety of new sets and possibilities.
I start from building Lucent Narga counter GL set. Skills are Mind's Eye, Sharpness+1, Artillery Expert and Evade+1. The weapon is Lagombalanche, which is one of few wide GL in game /my fav type od GL. Tested it out and i'm pleased with the results, hovever i need more practice with avoiding that damn tail hammer attack :| | |

| Last couple of days have been mostly messing around, doing the odd hunt before I go somewhere or have to do something. Most recently being a party, and while enjoyable... Didn't get drunk. Alas, a story for another thread. - Spoiler:
Did a Jhen run, and another A.Los run iirc. Haven't been playing much today; took on a Ceadeus village quest, in which I wailed on him for the full 30 minutes with Dios Slicers and couldn't kill him. Bad fight is bad. The amount of stuff I got from him was the only thing that stopped me from rage quitting; and the possibility that this quest works the same was as in Tri, in that if you repel him he starts at that health next time until you kill him.
Still, deciding that was a bad idea considering the amount of anti-lulz I got, I went back to farming Azure Los. First Los: Ruby. Awwww yeaaaaaah! Just need regular scales and carapaces now and I'll have the set; after just 3 runs I have the rarest pieces. :D
So next run, I get it limping, tail is off, everything broken etc etc. I pause the game and look at Kiranico to decide whether I'd be better off capping it or killing it for the parts I need, or whether it'd be worth capping it just for the chance for another los ruby/plate for other things. As I'm doing that, I lose connection from the gamepad to the Wii U, nothing unusual there, from where I play there's a partition wall in between it and the Wii U. Except the connection doesn't come back.
I look around where the door would be to my little gaming cove (if I had one) and see that my mother has turned it off at the wall.
Mfw.
So thankfully everything is as it should be before the run, I still have the second ruby and all that so I just need to spend another 10 minutes hunting another A.Los is all. I decide to do Operation:Paradise Lost first, to ensure I get the scales I need, or at least most of them. By the sixth (total) Los hunt, I had everything I needed. Also, before the last hunt I realised I had all the materials I needed for the Pitfall mask and Mock Melynx mask. Pitfall seems... useful but the recharge time is huge. Mock Melynx seems less so but could probably help with farming a particularly rare mat.
After that I set about getting the materials for some Hearing decorations to gem in HGE. At first I went after Lagombi for the +1 jewel but then realised Rath Soul helm has a three slot, so I then capped a Baleful Gigginox hoping for Uncanny Hides for the 3 slot version. Only needed two, had 5 separate chances of getting them, got one. T_T
At that, I called it a day.

| Nothing much happened today. Just farmed Lagi and did some Barioth. Oh I also forged Aelucanth X because I think the set looks cool. I also adjusted my bow set to have Use Power Coating instead of Status Atk +1, but I can always switch depending on the bow I use.
A kelbi bower said today, "DAMN I'M GOOD!" It was both hilarious and annoying.

| Just some general farming today, forging new weapons into their respective paths that I am after, after I got my base materials, I did a few cash runs, forged my new weapons into G Rank, and then farmed A.Lagi for some Hardhorns. Just a general weekend hunt farming for materials.

| Lotta stuff today, got the second set of 9* quests, and set about cleanin' 'em up to upgrade my various Dual Swords. After doing a Glacial Agnaktor (which was very painful...) I went on a Steel Uragaan hunt, painstakingly focusing every attack on the tail with my upgraded Plessy Machetes, I eventually cut it and carved a Ruby! :O
Not even done; I got a SECOND one in the rewards. I don't even need them. All I wanted was Scale+. DESIRE SENSOR. WHAT ARE YOU.
EDIT: And then I got a Lagi Sapphire on the I.Lagi urgent. AND THEN I GOT A DEVILJHO GEM ON THE JHO URGENT.
This is gonna cost me.

ha ha ha... it's not that bad, prob the trickiest thing is when it jumps behind you and you have to turn and block quickly but agree with idiots leading monsters to you, I've been having that happen a bit lately as well | |

| Finished my arena quests today, and finished the awards on the top row of my guild card, hunted some narga and other things for materials, then join my friends and hunted with them whilst on Skype, was good to actually have a decent conversation whilst hunting, forged some new armor and finished my Narga Z and Guild Bard X armors, all in all a good day of hunting

| Sunday I was pretty lucky. Needed some Dire Dragongems, first Miralis carve 1 gem, rewards got two. Needed a Cloudy Moonshard, prepared myself for a long run of farming, nope. After we killled it, carved a mantle and a moonshard xD. Last thing I needed was a Hardhorn, got it first run, decided to help out the people that joined, stayed there for awhile. This week I'ma go for my Atlantis Crabstone award o.O | |

Do people know what offline is anymore? No, they don't. Have you seen Miiverse? People there state that Tanzia Port is the Online Mode, and I don't think they know you can go there without Online connections.... | |
