| One HBG away from artisan's hammer, and one village Ala away from clearing all quests. That would leave just 2 awards left (crowns). | |

| I was able to stun lock Ceadeus with lv 3 and lv2 pierce ammo until I ran out. It looks like his HP won't go past a certain HP value in area 1-2 just like in Tri. This crap is really stupid. You could hear breaks and stuff, but only his beard was broken. I guess the only way to fight him is to break his beard before he reaches area 3, and then stop attacking since damage won't be added after a threshold has been accepted. Only until area 3 is attacking actually worthwile. | |

| Exploiting Ceadeus' battle logic, I one hit killed Ceadeus by punching him in area 3. Turns out, his total health (Which is 14,000 in Tri iirc) reached the 2750 health threshold, which is the minimum health value in areas 1 and areas 2. In this game, the threshold is actually 1 hp. Once he reaches area 3, you can punch him and he dies in one hit.
Screw this logic; because of this, I can't even farm for horns because they can't break in areas 1 and 2, and he instantly dies in area 3. What the hell Capcom.

| Just when you think you've seen it all:
Was farming gigginox, and was planning to cap. Gave Kayamba the Pitfall Mask, and had him set the trap. Gigginox's roar launched Kayamba out of the ground, leaving the trap behind!
Finally cleared village Ala (it wasn't pretty). Got my 10th HBG, only to find out event weapons don't count towards the artisan's hammer. So that's 3 more GS, another HH, 2 LS, 1 SNS, and 2 GL to make.
Down to 3 awards left to fill. Just learned about the monster size lock, so might be able to get some of those crowns by resetting when finding a gold or mini crown that I already have.

| As far as i know, yes they do count because their base weapons can be forged from the village/port. You do need the DLC mats to upgrade but I'm sure they do count. | |

... So they count as Event weapons or weapons that can get you the Award? Anyways, I just found out that Heat Cancel can cause the slime effect to not detonate by time. You just gotta be aware of Brachydios attacking you to finish the job.
